4th imo. Tied with the new look Knicks until they settle it on the court.

Indy matches up really well with MIL but kinda poorly with ORL (prior to Siakam at least).

I have a strong feeling Grimes will be moved.

I like this deal:
Grimes/Fournier/Mitchell Robinson + worse of mavs/knicks pick + crappy 1st
For
Clarkson/Olynyk

Backup pg / C is exactly what Knicks need. Clarkson would be a great 6th man who would bolster the 2nd unit like Woah. Olynyk would provide big man depth which is needed.

I’d rather do this deal than enter into a bidding war with other teams for DeJounte who probably doesn’t even care to play defense anymore. I’m happy to roll with Donte at starting 2 guard as he is That Dude who knows his roll and has that great Nova synergy with Brunson.

Why not start Clarkson... he's a creator and with only brunson and Randle being able to create I'd have him start. I think harrenstein has avg 15 rebound over past 9 games

Donte plays better when he starts and we need his defense on 1st unit. You really wanna link up Donte/Brunson minutes bc they play so well together.
Clarkson is perfect energy off the bench. We need someone to fill the IQ role. Also our 2nd unit took a hit bc RJ would be staggered and play with 2nd unit.

But depending on matchup / who’s playing well I could totally see Clarkson closing a game.

Was it a definitive plus or minus the tourney inside the reg season ?
Did it had up anything worthwhile in the end ?

I don't know about betting on OG to score, guy doesn't really shoot much on the Knicks. He's just a plug and play guy on offense.

I wouldn't back Scottie tonight, OG gonna be guarding him. I kinda like RJ/IQ to try and show out and Randle to abuse inside cuz Poeltl is still out.

It was fun to have the regular season mean something (some of the courts were horrible to look at though), prolly it's here to stay.

Over 26.5 pays 1.79x on Unibet. Over 27.5 pays 2x. I guess I was overstating needing to bet on him scoring in the 30s... (over 29.5 pays 2.48x).

Focusing on who starts is looking at it all wrong. Clarkson is more suited to run and gun on the 2nd unit than Donte is. We need Donte’s defense in lineups with Brunson. Clarkson/Brunson pairing for serious minutes is a defensive liability.

With that being said let me repeat, it doesn’t matter who starts when you can have a different lineup in 4th and down the stretch.

While true iq would be starting if he was taller... basically the main reason they had him coming off the bench. Clarkson would help the starters out and Dante if grimes is gone would head the bench with hart... I personally wait till mitch comes back on olynic and let deuce play as the backup pg.

IQ and Brunson often closed games together though. It wasn't an issue for his height (IQ has a 6'8'' wingspan, which is often more important than height - especially for perimeter players), as much as having him cook on the 2nd unit.

Isn’t that a testament on how poor the nba as become as a spectacle when u need those tourneys in the regular season tho ?
Even needing those to entice players to play more ?

Constantly switching jerseys every year is gross already, but the "Heat Culture" stuff is basically the endgame for when a neat little in-joke among fans or whatever falls into the hands of the marketing machine. It gets run into the ground and ruined.
