counterpoint - the bucks defense revolved around giannis and they won't be getting those kind of looks vs the lock down ankle breaking team defense led by brunson

Well, yeah, thats why they're rightly favored. Although I don't think it's Brunson's defense anyone should be most concerned about. OG's defense and Hartensteins rebounding is more likely to be what carries the day.

I think Knicks in 5 is probably the most likely result.

locks facing down = lockdown defense

it's always about the hair - this is why elfrid payton's defense was never good

no locks and no down

just sidefuzz

nobody builds a defense around a pube bridge

Might end up something like:

Canes/Rangers - noon to 1 pm.
Thunder/Mavs - 3:30
Stars/Avalanche - 6:00
Cavs/Celtics - 8:30
The NBA doesn't give a crap about the NHL and vice-versa. Mavs and Stars 1st two games are on the same day and start at the exact same time.

I jumped on the bandwagon, Knicks -245 on DK.

Let's rock and roll. Not taking exact score Knicks in 5 cuz Pacers could conceivably run hot from 3 and take 2 games.

I guess not haha. That’s pretty brutal.

Granted weekday scheduling has less flexibility than weekend.

Looks like they’re spread out on Saturday at least.

this. pacers eeked by bucks sans giannis and they werent even that great with giannis. knicks play defense.. can't see how they don't win by double digits at the garden.

I took brunson under 36.5

just think gm 1 his minutes could go down, pacers could sell out to stop him more and make guys hit shots more than their normal gameplan dictates

every gm of that series vs phi had a gm 7 feel that he had to crush for them to win, just think this series might be a little more normal and that is a massive #

if he just said he only wanted to go to la, the spurs would have got a better package

ok well first that makes literally zero sense, but also i'm pretty sure he did tell everyone that because that's what everyone said as soon as he got to toronto. that it was a 1-year rental and then he was signing with the lakers or clippers. it's 1000% the spurs fault for waiting until the last minute to trade him when they knew he had no interest in being there. he doesn't owe them ****ing anything, his contract was expiring and he was leaving, that's it. bye, bitch

unless I'm mistaken nobody even knows wtf was going on with his health - only that spurs thought he was fine to play whereas he didn't and he wouldn't even see the team doctors but instead did everything on his own and kept them out of the loop

was that not it?

from what i remember kiwi had beef with the spurs doctors because they sent him out injured and he got ****ed up. so he started getting checked out by his own ppl, and declaring himself unavailable when the spurs thought he was good to go. i'm sure it was related to him wanting out, but i think it began with a legit issue of him losing trust in the team's doctors. and tbf, they do work for the team, not the players. ask literally any nfler
