don't really see how JON is a must. I guess defensively he works but he's such a massive offense killer.

just ordered a danny granger jersey. he's risen the ranks to like my 5th favorite player ever or so. just what a guy.

ha.. I'm not a jersey guy but I was "building my own" Pacers t-shirt the other night. I love that team so much.

On a team where you have Kobe, Nash, Z, and another pretty good swingman, you don't really need a scoring 4. JON/Z is, I think, a better offense/defense frontcourt than SAR/Camby. SAR's best years came at the 3, didn't they?

yeah, but JON won't think that. His play on the Raptors has shown this. He's a ****ing blackhole on offense and he's not good at it.

A frontcourt of Z/JON would have which one playing PF?

I really don't think a frontcourt of both of them would work. I can see one playing with a combination of SAR or Camby, but not both together.

Also, I think a team with Nash/Camby would be pretty sick. Lots of alley oops. Maybe put Z at the 4 and Camby at C.

30-7 now......37 games.....45 more.....would need to go 30-15, wow, pretty harsh to pick them to go worse than 30-15 to be honest....really depends how many games they lose in this tough stretch coming up. Hope they lose tonight to the hornets

I expect them to lose alot.

Are people really starting to think Bustnani is good? I mean he really can't be fooling everyone at thinking he's good at basketball? God I feel like Dschmeid here, but O:INMF:OIFMOEWMF he will never be good, WTF.

Define good... he prolly will never play at the level you'd expect from a 1st overall draft pick, but he's an excellent shooter for someone his size and he has been playing pretty damn good D recently.

What position does he even play? Whatever it is, it isn't league average. He's put up some good stats the last couple weeks sure, but nobody can really be fooled, can they?

Ill Mago or however you spell that is also one of the worst nicknames ever. Is he the magician because he disappears for 2-3 games at a time?

Mark Cuban wins again.

Letter to JR Smith

Dear JR.

Im sorry I didnt accept your generous offer of a signed pair of shoes. I think they were even my size.

The NBA tells me a tech should have been called on you for throwing the elbow and that I should pay a 25k dollar fine because owners aren’t supposed to get mad. Ever.

In the spirit of the joy of my getting fined and your not getting the tech, have the Nuggets PR folks contact the Mavs PR folks and I will donate 25k to the charity of your choice.

Unless of course your coach thinks that the wrong thing to do, or the NBA says I can’t because it would be a violation of a rule. In which case, I will find a charity that I think you would like and make the donation in your name.

bff

I don't know, he comes off as a whiny bitch to me in that letter. I guess it's no surprise though considering who the #1 Mavs fan on this forum is. This reads like it was written by pokeromg.

RIP not in the starting lineup tonight. Looks like he decided to put the team first (something A.I. obviously isnt interested in despite that bull**** presser stating he would) and come off the bench.

He's got a lot of people fooled. Sorta like how luol deng had people fooled. Sorta like how Greg Oden has everybody fooled thatone day he'll average 20/10. Sorta like how the cavs and orlando have everybody fooled that they have any shot in a7 game series against whoever comes out of the west. Glad you're finally seeing the "I mean he really can't be fooling eeryone at thinking he's good at basketball" light.

My suspicions were confirmed after the reporter next to me asked another Magic related question. "Would you be intimated by the [Magic] if you saw them again in the Finals?" he asked.

"Me, intimidated?" Kobe asked quizzically as a smile began to appear on his face.

"Nah, man," he continued, "Unless it's a bee I'm not intimidated by anything."

I never got the sense that Bryant felt like Orlando was on the same level as his team. Maybe a bee really is the only thing that strikes fear into his heart, but, for the moment, the thought of playing Dwight Howard and the Magic in the Finals seems far more appealing than squaring off against Kevin Garnett and the Celtics or LeBron James and the Cavaliers.

lol a magic lakers finals would be 4-1 lakers and it wouldn't even be close.

I am with Dsch here, gasp, Orlando doesn't scare me at all.

Wait, you want AI AND Rip to come off the bench? What's your preferred starting 5?
