Maybe stylistically, he puts them in a new framework that allows them to succeed, even though in said framework Mo really isn't anything special? Makes sense.
Well, in general, its not the actual addition of Mo Williams. Its the addition of a vital missing piece. The points that I listed above could have been filled by any reasonably fast guard who can run the point, create his own shot, and hit the occasional three. Obviously with a talent like D Wayde or CP3 this team would potentially be talked about in the same breath as the mid 90s bulls when it is all said and done. As it stands now, they are only slight favorites to win it all. Any of about 10-12 point guards in the league would have been sufficient.

Bad news.

No more All-Star Game for me. My buddy can't make it due to bad travel arrangements and his work schedule.

I wanna say it was seth, but I could be wrong.

Turns out I'm not multiquoting cuz I ran out of interesting posts to quote.

Eric Snow can not get a coaching job soon enough. He's just so terrible in the studio.

Honest question: has there ever been a quadruple OT?

The Indianapolis Olympians defeated the Rochester Royals 75-73 in six overtimes--the longest game in NBA history.

In recent history, Seattle Supersonics vs Milwaukee Bucks on November 09, 1989 where the Bucks won 155-154 in 4 OTs.

It twas I. He just has that look of the random not really good spurs guy who just beats you. For a while it was Mario Elie (god I hated that ****ing guy) then it was Horry. Kerr doesn't count because everyone has always known Steve ****ing Kerr is cash money. I think S-Jax was in this role for a season or two. Now it's R-dub.

Just watchted a replay of Spurs - Lakers. Fell asleep last night.

Sick game that could have gone either way and beating the Lakers is always the best thing ever.

Itt Mason Head and Dschmeid's tantrums were pretty good too!

Even with Ariza not travelling and perhaps fouled, only Jackson said so not JVG I dont' think, isn't it just a no call a lot of the time late in the game.

Only saw one quick replay of it but I also didn't really see Mason's foot touch the the line on that lost shot where Fisher tackled him from behind.

Also great to see Manu having a game like this.

didn't watch lal/sas last night, because regardless who wins, I lose.

Grunching the thread real quick -

@ untouchable - LOL at your blocked list, I have the same

GSW/SAC - wow! Also, looked up that 5OT game in 1989 between Seattle and Milwaukee - dale ellis played 69 minutes! Asdhdjdmfk Im tired just thinking about it. 6 players fouled out of that game. Nate mcmillan was on that sonic team, played 51 minutes and took all of 3 shots!

Look at the clippers number of FG made. Now look at their number of assists.

No idea how you found that game, but that's pretty bizarre. Also, random Norm Nixon sighting.

true, but Duncan's shot was fading away running away from the hoop off the wrong foot

if you ignore time, it's not really arguable that Fisher's shot was the higher % shot, which is what my %'s were based off

the clock portion is going to have all kinds of human error, there has probably been a zillion shots with <1 second to go that have been allowed that shouldn't have
