I think my main issue with Colby's character is that I just dont believe it so all im left with is what i feel like is a guy who has cringe inducing delivery of lines that I dont think even he believes. Cejudo is pretty cringey too but that feels like it is who he actually is so i can buy into it.

Also because I think its all an act, I am open to the fact the with some development its something I could get into. In a way my opinion on him has already changed, pre-RDA i didnt like him at all. I felt he was a fighter whose ability wasnt up to the level to the fights his mouth got him. Now after his last 2 fights I see I was dead wrong and he is a super talented fighter who deserves his spot in the rankings. Its reveresed now to where I dont think his character and delivery is up to the level of fighter that he is.

That reminds me of when they brought in Sean Gannon back in 2005 after he beat Kimbo in a street fight. That didn't work out very well as Branden Lee Hinkle dominated and TKO'ed him in round 1.

I just read that Sean Gannon was killed in the line of duty last year at the age of 32. Kimbo died at the age of 42. Very sad.

FML, I am fake news. It was not Sean Gannon the police officer from boston turned UFC fighter that was killed. It was another police officer named Sean Gannon from Massachusets that died. The former UFC fighter is still alive and well. My bad. (he's also in his 40s, which makes more sense to me).

Yeah, that was Sean Gannon. He got in after beating up Kimbo. He was a regular poster on The Underground forum though and that's probably where he was begging for his shot. Dana was a poster on The Underground as well.

He should be a tougher matchup than McGregor, both from a skillset perspective and the fact that McGregor came in to that fight from an approximate 2 year hiatus from MMA.

Some think Poirier has what it takes to win this fight. I think Khabib will maul him but it's not a cakewalk by any means. Khabib and Ferguson are the 2 top fighters in the division but Poirier is a clear #3 and could surprise to the upside.

Prediction: WEILI will punch Andrade into next week. Weili will then wait in the ring for 7 days until Andrade arrives, then punch her back into the previous week. This will continue in an infinite loop where Andrade time travels back and forth forever.

Yeah Dana is really pumping this fight up. As far as I can see its just something that is potentially huge for the business side while for the fans nothing really changes. They recently opened a performance institute in China so they obviously feel the market has potential as they chose it as the location for their 2nd PI so they obviously feel like its the perfect time for China to get its first champion.

Hard to see her losing to anybody with that kinda performance. She's powerful with ko power, she's going to be hard for girls like Suarez to dry hump for 5 rounds and probably too powerful on the feet for Joana. Rose vs Zhang will be a fun contest.
