Yeah could easily see a rematch being next. Both guys gonna need some time to heal up and nothing else at 205 looks promising with Rockhold getting crushed tonight.

What is next for Askren? He got destroyed.

Masdival and Covington are good friends, certainly complicates the title picture now. Felt like Askren/Usman was next and UFC just hope Askren would win then do Askren/Covington but these guys aren't Jones or GSP. They can all lose to one another.

I wouldnt mind a rematch but im sure they will try get one more DC vs Jones before DC retires.

Masvidal said in some interviews this week that him and Colby know they might have to fight each other and are fine with it. Colby probably gets the title fight if he beats Lawler. I know it would look like a step back for Masvidal but if he isnt 1st in line for a title fight and Edwards beats RDA later this month could see them making Masvidal vs Edwards considering they have history.

My first thought regarding Askren after the fight: "Will he retire now?" I hope not because I want to see him run it back vs Robbie Lawler. That first fight was so crazy. Lawler is fighting Colby early next month and if Lawler loses I hope they do the rematch. Not sure if Askren would accept.

If ever anyone asked to get KO'd in the most public vicious way, it was Ben Askren. No one in any sport has talked more crap than him. Masvidal is a hero in 99.99% of the MMA world today.
