What a sad way to go for one of the greatest of all time. Must say though that Silva with hands up looked far less dangerous than Silva with hands down toying with his opponent - even while both feet were still attached.

As for Tate v Rousey, Tate needs to sack her head coach. Her BJJ coach did an excellent job as she put on a masterclass in escapes from seemingly impossibly situations, but what clown thought trying to out-wrestle a judo olympic medalist was a bright idea? She was matching it standing but bizarrely took every opportunity to shoot in and take it to the ground. Also one of the more lop-sided fights strength wise, Rousey totally out-muscled her. Total fail in strength + conditioning too.

well we'll see if weidman is still fighting at 38 and still reigning as champ, honestly, i never really liked Silva but started to appreciate the excitement he brought to the game. But to do it as long as he had, especially in MMA is a feat in itself
