Thoughts on the main event tonight? I took Burns +350 via decision, we'll see what Woodley has at 38 with a decent layoff.

Smaller cage obviously hurts chances to go the distance but I could see him grinding a decision on Woodley.

My only thoughts are that Woodley looks like he was off ped's in his last fight and looked done as a fighter. If the same Woodley shows up i'm not sure who he beats in the top 10, so with that said i say he'll lose.

10-8 and 10-9 1st 2 rounds for Burns

Woodley doesn't seem like he can win rds vs Burns, just either going to KO him or he isn't unless Burns gasses since he's never been 5 before

edit: another 10-9 Burns

Impressive victory for Burns, never even heard of this guy before and he just showcased all of his skills; wrestling, BJJ & striking. Burns vs Colby for #1 contendor and Masvidal vs Usman for the title hopefully is next.

nice to get a + $ winner...I had both yoel and reyes by decision fwiw

Don't really see Burns getting a big fight off this but could be wrong, I think maybe him vs Edwards and winner gets a title shot. Don't see Cov/Masvidal/usman being too eager to fight him until they have no choice.

Woodley probably takes a few more fights where he can make some money on fight nights and then retires. WW division is just too deep nowadays and he is obviously getting older.

I'm guessing he retires now.

Might not make an announcement (hoping it helps him stay on TV) but he won't fight again imo.

So wait, I'm a Jon Jones fan now? What the **** is going on in 2020??

If he full on demands a union after bitchmaking Dana and (maybe) relinquishing the belt, I'm gonna lose it.

Triple C gives up the belts, Bones gives up the belts and we've got guys on ESPN talking g about going back to work tomorrow because Dana is a *****. C'moooooon, burn this ***** down.

Woodley - born April 7, 1982 (age 38 years)

Dude just got old. Happens to everyone.

It is why I am sympathetic to the trash talking 155's and 170's. Jorge, coby, connor, nate. look, there is a champ in those divisions and it's clear none of these guys wants a piece of him and...who can blame them. they would rather increase the drama around fights with each other rather than risk losing to the man and not getting another big payday. that's fine. with the exception of connor, those other guys have been underpaid all their careers and now they need to get $ while they can.

So Sandhagen beat Assuncao in both of their last fights and Sterling beat Munoz in his last fight who beat Garbrant in his last fight. Yet Assuncao vs Garbrant is the co-main over Sandhagen vs Sterling. Guess wins and losses don't matter in UFC.

Garbrandt is bigger than the other 3 combined. The winner of the next fight should get the title shot though.

He's also been finished in his last 3 fights. And he's bigger because he has been given the spotlight. Something Sterling will hopefully now get but should have got tonight along with Sandhagen.
