There's a sampling bias with that

The kind of guy who's down to fight in a cage for a living ...

Also the higher you climb, generally, the smarter you have to be so I'm sure those lower orgs or regional circuit guys are pieces of **** and morons who can't control themselves a lot of times

yeah umm. look, there are guys who are screwed because of domestic violence laws that, all a woman has to do is make a phone call, and if the guy is drunk or just looks like a bad guy, or if the girl was freaking out and attacking him and reflexes got the better of him...well he is going to jail. and he can really be f'ed.

but this guy beat the hell out of this woman. and yes, she stayed with him, but f that. being dumb isnt a crime, assault with a deadly weapon, a fighters fists, is.

^^^

FYI this is Anatta responding to a post by a dude that's now vanished which basically pardoned WM of any wrong doing because she's a porn star and therefore not a human being

I gotta tell you it's hard to watch her films now but I soldier through because I'm not going to let anything dissuade me from my self-love

That's just how my parents raised me

That's a fun card

2-3 years ago I never would've guessed that Mir/Arlovski is a fight I'm most looking forward to on a PPV

Dodson might get him this time too

Am I the only one who doesn't like the smaller weight divisions?

They are tiny dudes.

I can't take short people seriously as I am 6'3.

I hope Arlovski sends Mir into retirement.

Mir is my number 1 most despised fighter of all time.

No you're the norm, that's why DJ's buy rates have always been so low as the PPV headliner and also been the headliner on so many free TV cards.

Also one of the main reasons why women's MMA has never been that huge until Ronda - lack of finishes. The weight class is also similarly shallow.

Watch DJ/Benavidez and some of Dodson's fights if you want to see the occasional finish. Lineker is fun to watch when he can make weight. He's like a little version of Fabio Maldonado.

I know you're a fan of MMA but I don't know how hardcore so I dunno if I'm telling you what you know but Dodson ko'd Dillashaw in the TUF finale - fighting a weight above his current class. He really does punche above his weight ldo. He clocked DJ and is really the only guy to have him in trouble besides Uncle Creepy.

watching sloppy gassed out heavy weights is def more fun than watching high level tiny punch men go at it for five rounds

I like the smaller fighters, for one.

But I do hate Mir also. The fact that he takes pride in inflicting potentially career ending injury is objectionable to me.

BTW, it's not being 6'3 that causes your bias against respecting short people. I know people even taller than you who are not idiots.

lol at someone not liking lighter weight fighters equals being an idiot.

I mean he might be but that's not the reason. I don't dig lighter weight boxers for the same reason. MMA I'm always down for but I can relate in a way.

I have an 'e' in punch in the above post but that's because I changed the sentence around and it was punches. I hate the appearance of the edit tag (unless it's for effect) so I'm not touching it though.

The only knock on the 125 division is that it's kind of shallow, and they're aren't as many knockouts, but Dodson and MM are as talented and get as many knockouts as anyone.

You would rather watch heavy weights gas out? seriously?

135 and 145 are two of the best divisions in the sport

Not what I, or he contended. He said he can't take short people seriously because he is 6'3. That was a seperate statement from not enjoying lighter weight class fights. I'm going out on a limb, but I bet there is nobody who knows him who hasn't been informed that he is 6'3 many, many, many times. People who think being tall is an accomplishment are usually lacking in other areas, so I made the leap.

Light-hearted regardless. He's probably a great dude.

Resource hog. I am going to enjoy thinking about your lanky body cramped up on a long coach flight in between rounds of the next little guy fight.
