Maybe Ronda and Cyborg can work out a 140 catch-weight

what would be the line for a Ronda-Cyborg fight at their current weights

It was that left that put her on queer street

She already had unsteady legs before the 2 piece put her away

lol after the left she was backing up with her hands down and right before the next two shots she's wagging her tongue

also:

I only watch gfy's for fighting and porn so those urls always seem so on point and sadistic

So going by fightmatrix rankings, Ronda has beaten

#2 in the world Alexis Davis in 16 seconds
#3 in the world Meisha Tate twice (at least Tate made it out of the first minute both times)
#4 in the world Cat Zingano in 14 seconds

#6 in the world Sara McMann in 66 seconds

Also #10 and #11 and #13 in the world, both in the first round (Sarah Kaufman and Liz Carmouche and Bethe Correia).

That's what cleaning out a division looks like. I'd imagine next for her is Holly Holm or Meisha Tate.

Holm is undefeated, 9-0 overall (2-0 UFC). She's a championship-level boxer with a 33-2-1 record (several world championships, but I have no idea how prestigious they are. Looks legit enough imo). Maybe needs one more fight in the UFC to get a title shot?

Tate is on a pretty solid 4-fight winning steak and has to get another shot (or there's the danger she wipes out all the other potential challengers). She's also the only person to ever get out of round one against Ronda, so that helps her case.

Probably Tate next with Holly Holm fighting someone on the main card to build Holly as the next title shot.

Holly Holm, just from the boxing pedigree, seems like she might present a small amount of danger to Ronda. 95% of the division Ronda could probably beat however she wanted, but Holm would at least be dangerous when striking.

But really, it's hard to see how on earth anyone's going to beat Ronda...

Did you watch Holm's last fight Danny?

Holm's path to victory would also be head kick

Tate has the best chance imo. She did take her into the 3rd

I did not watch Holm's last fight. I'm going straight off her wiki page lol, which tells me she should be a pretty good striker. does the eye test prove/disprove that?

I meant the fight before - against Pennington

I don't really remember her most recent

She's a point striker and looks more like a kickboxer out there

I can't imagine how weak women's boxing must be

Pennington brawled her up and could've won the decision and maybe should've

It was split, she crowded her and Holm did not like

ROUND 3
Pennington hits Holm with a low kick on the damaged leg early, as she did a few times in the latter half of round two. Holm steps in with a lead uppercut and dodges the counter fire from Pennington, then hits “Rocky” with a nice right hook upstairs a few seconds later. Holm keeps the shorter woman away with front kicks, takes a kick to the lead leg and responds with a leg kick of her own. Pennington lands one of her best shots of the night with a counter right after ducking another punch. Holm puts a pair of straight punches on Pennington’s face and dips out of the pocket. Pennington tries a left high kick and sends it off Holm’s forearm. A straight right hand from Pennington knocks Holm to the ground, but the Coloradoan gets over-aggressive and slips to the ground while trying to pounce, allowing Holm to get up. Holm hits Pennington with a knee in the clinch, releases and stuffs a takedown. As they break from the clinch, Pennington connects with a nice overhand right. Holm slaps with a high kick and takes another left hand on the chin for her effort. Down to the final minute, Pennington scores with a pair of right hands that has Holm backing away. Holm is bleeding from her nose as another high kick is deflected. Pennington is the one pressing forward as the horn signals the end to a very close final round.

I'm starting to remember her last one now. She cruised but it was point striking still.

I think after the first fight in the UFC and how crappy she looked against a fighter who after that loss is now 5-5 put her in there with a 38 year old with 7 career fights going into the match. To preserve their contender a la boxing style match making.

Holm is hype hype hype

Fight before the UFC she took 5 rounds to finish off this then 32 year old 125er
