All of that will be especially bad against a guy like Anderson whose entire game plan is to make you move forward and provide an opening. Diaz's only weakness isn't wrestling. It's also defense and gameplanning when he strikes. He got outstruck by Carlos Condit because he couldn't adjust his gameplan when Condit was moving out of range, and he doesn't bother with much defense.

Anderson's going to play pattycake with his face. I'd expect that line to shift even further towards anderson. The only way I see him losing is if he's just gotten old and has lost his ability the way fighters inevitably do.

That's why I'm not super excited about it. Prime or anything-close-to-prime Anderson destroys the **** out of nick diaz, end of story. While this is a bit unfair to Nick, it's true. If Nick wins, it's just a sign that Anderson is old/washed up.
this is how i feel but im pretty anti diaz

Since the JJ injury, I have to admit I see AG's frustration about not getting his rematch. Although the JJ/DC dust up certainly has the MMA Fan's interest as well. Do you believe AG should hold out for the title fight?

JJ/AG is the right fight for "sports integrity" reasons. JJ/DC then JJ/AG is correct for "money" reasons.

Those 2 are the clear contenders. some people like to act as if DC just came into the ufc hasnt fought here and expects to fight for the title, which is not the case. he went through a couple HWs already and took on 2 fights in the LHW division already. I dont buy into the whole but he hasnt made a long run in this division feeling.

mean while AG lost his title shot and has won 1 fight since then. Im not saying 1 deserves a title shot more then the other, but for them to feel like theyve been slighted or passed up by the ufc is pretty lol IMO. AG can wait it out all he wants, but its been shown that that tactic can end up not turning out to be such a good idea

UFC needs to stop the freak shows. Don't want to see Cung Le getting beat up again thanks.

Bisping gains nothing by beating an old man ffs.

Rafael Dos Anjos impressed me last night. I've never been a huge Benson fan, enjoyed that fight a lot. The LW scene is very intriguing right now, too bad it's on hold for a season of TUF. Pettis vs Melendez is a great fight. RDA is probably #3 or #4 now. Khabib Nurmagomedov* has the potential to be an elite fighter. Alvarez is finally in the UFC. Cerrone is on a tear. And there are a ton of quality vets and promising newcomers hanging around like Henderson, Diaz, bobby green, michael johnson, jim miller, masvidal, myles jury, etc.

just a matter of time before khabib gets a hold of that belt. I can see him holding the title for a long time. cerrone is overrated, but i love watching him fight.
