Cliff Lee is simply not human: 9 IP, 5 H, 1 R (unearned), 13 K tonight. His K/BB for the year is now 114/7, and he's averaging 8.18 innings per start.

Real pitchers realize when their team isn't going to score a lot of runs and don't let up that one run like Cliff Lee did

also josh johnson seems to give up a lot of doubles, not many singles/triples/home runs, and a lot of outs. is that because his outfielders suck?

Agreed. It's obviously Lee's fault Kinsler made a two-out error that allowed the run to score. Lee sucks.

I didn't see anything here about Joe Mauer's 5-for-5 night at the plate with seven RBIs yesterday. This was an impressive feat, it also pretty rare as for a catcher as well. Here's the article and for the site police around here i am paraphrasing the first line of the article.
