I'm no longer a Mets fan. Tomorrow I will be picking a team out of a hat to determine which one I will follow for the remainder of my life.

Don't necessarily agree with this. When factoring in a sacrifice from the pitcher you are pretty much automatically giving away a double (granted while taking away the opportunity for the pitcher to hit), which is the same result you got from an Albert rope. Walking him only protects against the HR, which is way, way less likely than an out, though it being Albert ****ing Pujols makes it a closer decision.

Expert managerial move as he knew Krod would give up a run, and he waited until it didn't mean a loss.

kyle, not sure if this will be as good on replay because extra-inning games are so much better when you never know when its gonna end so there is always an extra edge, but let me just say, that as a spectator watching it live, it is every bit as amazing as the thread would lead you to believe

Just tell Lohse to go 75% and pitch.

I think grabbing a rando Cards fan from the stands to pitch would give better results than mather imo

I realize fielding as a pitcher is not his forte, but I have no idea why Mather was trying to hold an imaginary runner at third.

Are there any fans left? I would've left in disgust at least five innings ago.

There is no reason for Ryan Ludwick to run and there is no reason Pujols should see a pitch to hit with nobody on base.
