he was 11/22 against arguably the best team defense in the NCAA i guess that means overrated

lol. who cares? this is college and he is undoubtedly one of the best in college. and hes been the best player this tournament by a mile.

also esw, you're grossly underrating davidson. even though are from a ****ty conference they were seeded too low if you look at how well they played against duke, ucla, and unc

edit: for the record i kind of hate the ncaa tourney for all the variance, but that has little to no effect on what i think of the stellar individual performances

They also lost to Charlotte, NC State, and Western Michigan. I think their seed was right.

They were ranked #23 in the final AP poll so a #10 seed was probably too low.

I dont think the committee looks at the poll rankings that much. Davidson was around 40 in almost all the computer rankings I looked at though.

They obviously don't or they wouldn't have given Butler a 7th seed either.

One thing they did do is put a 10th seed in a home advantage court, and now they have a lot of confidence.

I think they are better too, but the committee (rightfully imo) seeded them based on their season of work, which had some well played losses to great teams but no stand out wins and a couple bad losses.

If they had lost in the SoCon championship I would definitely think they were one of the best available at-large teams, but the season results wouldn't have justified a bid.
