Mike Brown is the luckiest coach alive. He can't coach offense for ****, so he gets the best player in the league on a team that doesn't have good talent around him. The offense is super simple since it consists of getting the ball to LeBron. Mike Brown has more time to focus on the defense, which is the only thing he knows how to coach, and he looks like a good coach in the process.

Coach K is never leaving Duke.

For whatever reason any time a big time nba job opens up, his name is thrown in there and every time nothing ever comes of it. Of course he's a good fit, but he's not leaving. Pipe dream imo.

Why leave the NCAA to coach in a league with a salary cap?

That's exactly why Calipari didn't leave Kentucky to coach in the NBA.

Would have been lol if the fakers fired him durring preseason. that would be a genuine lol. firing him now is great. I was afraid it would take LA getting to 3-10 or something before they did it.

He is a **** coach. I mean his IQ might not be the worst, but he gets no respect from his players it seems. You saw this in Cle, and you saw it in LA. Maybe respect is the wrong word. "Trust" might be more accurate. Seems to have little control, little respect, and little trust. Even if he was a basketball genius it would not matter.

+1.

Coach 1st three quarters, and if they are down going into fourth, check in and play.

Jerry Sloan is easily the best fit for the Lakers. No way he'd want to be part of that circus though. I assume hes done coaching for good. Means they will obv wind up w/ D'Antoni

Should take it as a compliment. Nothing beats the rustled jimmies that take place here when the Lakers are good (which is often because everything is rigged in their favor!) Just gotta take your lumps when they're losing, and let the haters have their fun.

You're a crazy person if you really think that. Sloan's hard-ass taskmaster ways won't fly with that bunch in that city. And he knows no other ways. McMillan would make more sense imo.

Who is McMillan?

The point of firing a coach is to attempt to acquire someone better.

After Mike Brown that's not much of a constraint.

One of the van gundy brothers is the best fit. For obvious reasons, this will not happen

One of the Van Gundy's will go to the Pistons after Frank is fired for going 11-71
