What happened to AMARE? Phuck. When I used to watch him on the Suns he was so much better.

I always thought Amare was hugely overrated. He got tons of easy baskets when he played for the Suns because of Steve Nash. Every player that played with Steve Nash during the last 7 years has had numbers far better than what they put up without him, the only exception being an aging and forever underacheiving Vince Carter. even guys like Raja Bell were all of a sudden star players when linked up with Nash.

One of the best defenses in the league threw EVERYTHING at him and he puts up that game?

Our most pressing need is once again backup PG. That 3 minute offensive futility with Shumpert running point was hard to watch.

Also, we need new knees for amare, but failing that, having baron to spell Lin a little would be great. Great performance against this team.

Baron Davis was available today

Having Melo in the game will allow JLin some rest. Gonna be a scary team to draw in the playoffs.

even if davis was available today they couldnt play him, too big of a game against too good of a team so i understand that.... great how much faith the coaching staff have in lin though & boy is he delivering

cant wait to see knicks vs heat when it happens, also i really wanted to see melo play today man...

definitely stud-like and done against a good D to boot. again in a perfect world the TOs would be down but you can sure as hell live with it going with the rest of those stellar numbers, while realizing most of his TOs go from taking aggressive risks looking to create high % shots. it's still more than fair to expect him to stop having 6+ TOs every single night though

fun fact: knicks were +25 during the 15 mins amare spent on the bench

It's clear now. Lin is already an allstar. I have never seen point guard getting double teamed 35ft away from basket that often in one game. Yet he still finds ways to break down defence.
Not only he can score but he elevates the level of his teammates play. Sign of true superstar.

Knicks have a game tomorrow night. How many minutes can Lin play tomorrow?

Probably depends if melo plays, though he'll probably be limited and baron will probably see time. At this point, who knows what is going on with his injury.

^^ 2morrows game is a good time to play davis.... i say let lin play 24mins or less & let davis get practice, especially with melo coming back & then having the hawks & then the heat its prudent for them to do that man..

Can someone answer me why Amare plays like garbage this season ? It looks like he lost all the hops and quickness. This guy used to dunk on everyone wtf happened ?
LIN Quote

Knees in bad shape/shot/whatever definitely a factor.

I think the back stuff from the offseason is a big part of the amare stuff too. He didn't play any basketball in an extended offseason. He put on like 20 pounds of muscle too people were saying in training camp which was an awful awful awful thing to do.

He has a game here or there where he looks to be getting it back and then something happens and we're back to square one.
