See, this is a trolling comment. Seth, moderators have to follow the site's rules as well - you are not exempt.

Didn't know anything about Irving first time around, so for the most part, yes. (But Irving is elite, and > Lin)

Rondo is barely top 10, much less top 5.

Rubio is like a white Rondo, so...

lol @ lin being out of the league by 2015. NY being <33% to make post season is a complete joke as well. There are only like 3 or 4 teams competing for 8th seed and NY will have melo.

Yeah, but it's mild. Mild trolling is allowed. Even for mods.

^^ rubio leads the league in steals, charges drawn, prob gets the most rebounds for a pg & almost 9 assist per game & is top 5 i believe in that category & that stat would be higher if he started from the season started + if his teammates could actually shoot... ide love to hear you name 9 better pg's than rubio or rondo tbh... as i said once rubio develops even a 40% fg% jump shot hes #1 in my eyes

You're kind of a bully, seth. It's odd, you seem to love to pile on "mild" trolling of anyone in the minority opinion. But that's all besides the point, we can name call (which I'd rather not do) or we can discuss Lin. Your decision.

I think the biggest gap between what the pro-Lin (me, iggy) and the con-Lin (most others) seem to realize is just how awesome he's been. This isn't Darren Collison performing slightly above average as a rookie starter (which is impressive). This is a guy who is playing as well (if not better) than any player in the league, aside from LeBron James.

He won Eastern Conference Player of the Week and it was 100% deserved. Collison didn't even come close to that award! So everyone knows that Lin will regress - no one thinks he's LBJ's equal. But even with some regression anticipated, his projecting based on his stuff as a starter is literally all-star caliber. He's also still young! In other words, those that are trying to peg a ceiling on him... Let's wait a month.

in a month's time will you post another "but guys, his numbers were really good at the time", like you did with the rest of your predictions?

He has a 49 TS. You can't be a great player south of the 50 TS mark.

Yes, his defense is very good, and as a rookie, should only improve. Yes, he can play make and run an above average offense. Yes, he's very good, and has potential to be even better. But he is individually incredibly inefficient... Has a 101 ORtg.

Rubio, like Rondo, are following a similar career trajectory as Jason Kidd. Which is unbelievable, obviously. (I'm not saying either are or will be as good as he was etc., just they have a familar profile)

Nah, Rondo/Lowry/Wall/Westbrook all getting more rebounds than Rubio, with Lowry being over a full rebound per game better at 5.4 rebounds. Curry is right there with him as well.

Really though, I like Nash a lot and I hope he gets a ring, but he has to be the only guy ever to win an MVP when finishing 3rd on his own team in win shares that year.

Really sloppy half, played a lot better in 2nd quarter though.

Turnover triple double with a game winning shop will definitely get some haters mad.
