@Joey7Barton: But as normal, the media hysteria will cause the populace to miss the real crime here...

@Joey7Barton: Swansea should face punishment also in my eyes. Hazard will be vilified for his over reaction.

I recall Joey7Barton hitting the deck pretty dramatically after being bitch-slapped by Gervinho last year.

Hazard needs to come out with a big apology to the lad and loads of gifts asap, until he does he looks like scum (will still be scum afterwards tbh but at least he'd have done the right thing).

Can guess that 'scum ballboy' people itt have no kids.

The ball boy was a prat and deserved to be kicked, you act like a prat for your own minute of fame you get kicked, seems like a valuable life lesson. Hazard is a role model

Kid totally deserved it, and clearly it wasn't a kick he was poking at the ball. Happens all over the world in Sunday league matches every day, some **** lies on the ball for too long after falling over, guy from the other team pokes it out from underneath him. But lol, media hysteria and entitled little fat kids.

I'd like to buy Hazard a beer for doing it, though.
I agree that it was incredibly stupid by Hazard but the severity of it is so blown out of proportion. Hazard never had any intention on kicking the ballboy he just poked the ball out under the guy that was having his 5 secs of fame and acted like he was first swung down by a wrestler and then kicked in the ribs by Roberto Carlos in full stride.

Stopped reading there because we're obviously talking about different incidents.

Exactly. The kick is a stabbing motion at the ball, nothing more.

It nomally is but this guy was there to do a job and he done it. He's the son of Swansea's biggest shareholder and his tweets hours before the game clearly reveal the motives for him being there and placed behind the goal we were attacking for both halves.

The reason the guy and his father don't want to make much of it is because it's an embarrassment for Swansea as a club and him as an owner.

I'm guessing but I can't imagine this would cover even a fraction of the numbers needed.

lol at teens taking ref training, yeah lets use a squad of like 5 people at most only

The ball boy acted in such a way that deliberately provoked a kick or some kind of reaction, he then played victim when that reaction was provoked. This is from a person who isn't part of the game and should have no effect on the result of the game, that's disgraceful. People blaming Hazard and calling him names are completely without perspective, you play in dirt you get dirty, that's the lesson here. Whether Hazard could have been smarter in that situation and avoided the altication is irrelevent, you put someone in a high pressure situation, when they're in a rush, then provoke them seeking a certain reaction you shouldn't blame someone for reacting to that provokation.

The ballboy is doing a gane where his team can get to their first major final (high pressure situation if there ever was one) he wastes 5 whole ****ing seconds - some people need to catch themselves on.

Would hazard have kicked the swansea keeper for wasting 5 whole seconds? Not a ****ing chance.

Id say quite a few would have enjoyed kicking Drogba when he was faking injury to waste time

Sometimes fans just want it both ways and they don't see how dumb they are being (this includes me)

But nobody ever did kevin.

Id say getting to the final means more to the kid (lifelong fan) than some blowin like Hazard, that he was dumb/smart (depending on your view) gives hazard no right to kick out at him.

Yeah my point is how is Drogba faking injures/general time wasting any different to the ballboy doing what he did? Every single club on the planet has time wasted at some point.

Chelsea fans should be more concerned at Rafa last night imo, shocking management.

Nope. We should pay no attention to this. Swansea should be embarrassed. Some kid wasted 5 seconds just as all players/clever ball kids do in that spot. OTOH, it's not embarrassing at all that a star player just kicked said kid. He probably deserved death tbh. Got off quite lucky.

After reading that the lad's in line to inherit millions from his father's reported wealth of £42m I'm glad Hazard booted the little whiny ****.
