If he went off and did his shenanigans and didn't give a **** about the attention, that's one thing. That's being GRONK.

If he stayed home on the weekends and kept his attention to classes and the weight room and complained about media scrutiny, that's another thing.

Both of these scenarios would be understandable. But you can't just expect to get the best of both worlds

Your post was awful, but you know that because it's how you troll.

That said, this line was easily the worst. There's a reason no one gives a **** about your opinions, and at least partially it's because you aren't a Heisman winning QB for a FBS school. Expecting your experiences (or their consequences) to be the same as JFF's is Iggy-level stupid.

No, this is all wrong. The reason there is so much media scrutiny is because ESPN does things like signing day which exploits high schools and puts so much pressure on them to announce their college decisions to the world. Then you have ridiculous media days where these amateur athletes are supposed to answer a bunch of questions. It's absurd. There's no privacy whatsoever, and you act as if that's ok. Gronk is a professional athlete getting paid millions of dollars and has faced arguably less scrutiny.

It's unfortunate social media exists for these players because that just makes them even more scrutinized where any person with a cell phone can show him getting kicked out of a frat party of take pictures of him at some other party. The average college kid doesn't get even a millionth of the attention Manziel gets. Sad how these kids are exploited and don't make a dime for it. I mean the media has no ethics, so it's no surprise they can't leave these kids alone during the off-season.

He was seen on video walking out of a frat house, and in pictures he was standing outside at a cook-out.

Just thought you guys might need to be reminded the Aaron Hernandez thread is ----> way.

ESPN can be a ****ty organization and JFF can be an immature douche. They aren't mutually exclusive.

(And for Christ's sake, someone PLEASE think of these poor exploited children...please)

Yeah if this was 10 years ago you would have no idea about any of his personal life. Matt leinart partied way harder than this kid (he was at the playboy mansion all the time, got bottles everywhere) after he won his heisman and you barely heard a whisper. This kid hasn't even committed a crime, impregnated anyone, etc and he's made out to be this crazy wreck less child

Obv meant since he got famous, I know he got arrested before last year

You're putting way to emphasis on my comparison to Gronk.

The average college kid isn't a rich Heisman Trophy winning quarterback of a top-5 football team in the country. Of course he's being exploited by the system, but it's the system that he must take part in at this point in time. And compared with the average 20-yr-old college kid that he likes to compare himself to, he has countless benefits. If he really didn't like the attention, he wouldn't act like an attention whore.

Please. They wanted and loved the attention. I mean his parents were going to get jffmom and jffdad vanity plates for their cars. But yea, they are the victims. Lol.

Nice strawman. Where did I mention his parents in my post? I couldn't give a **** less what his parents think about the attention. We are talking about JFF.

I mean, it's just hilarious how the media is "OMG HE WAS KICKED OUT OF A FRAT PARTY!!1111" and barely even mentioned how he was arrested for using a fake ID last year.

Because you are saying media should leave him alone when he and his family craved the hype and attention in the 1st place. Don't want the attention? Don't put yourself in the position to be in the news in the 1st place.

What? The first image that shows up in a GIS of Matt Leinart is this:

This photo also made the rounds:

He was also roundly criticized for returning his senior year. The impression that people got was that he only returned so he could party all Spring semester (iirc, he only needed 1 or 2 classes to graduate).

Those pics happened when he was in az and my point is that the idiots on espn weren't blabbing about him being kicked out of parties or whatever and he didn't have twitter to be scrutinized about

Huh? Of course he should have. What he does on the field is fantastic. It's what he's doing off the field that is creating a media firestorm. If he doesn't want attention he shouldn't be hanging out with Drake, LeBron etc. and being in center of attention. The media follows him because he keeps himself in public eye.

He should hold a presser.

Walk up to the stand, pull out a pair of A&M hater blockers (aka plastic douchey sunglasses) and do his own dealwithit.gif by raising the glasses over his head and slowly bringing them to his eyes.

Then walk off.
