Jimbo in that video reminds me of an aging hobbit reacting to someone trying to take away his ring

hopefully if and when jameis gets flushed down the toilet, this sputtering turd goes down the drain with him. they can finish out their careers hawking/signing "national championship" memorabilia at various Tallahassee Cracker Barrels. The two revered legends of the 8-teeth-missing, No-Fear-shirt-wearing, Dollar-Tree-shopping hordes of FSU faithful.

Interesting how the journalist is so apologetic for asking a 'tough' question during the puff piece interview session. These 'journalists' are basically just sycophants whose livelihoods depend on access to Jimbo, he won't make that mistake again.

the gap between georgia/gurley and FSU/winston is also pretty damn telling. jimbo is betting his football team's season (eligibility-wise) on the word of a dude who has an incredibly loose relationship with the truth. pretty damn slimy/selfish bet to make. that could easily backfire if anything surfaces about payments, considering that it seems quite obvious it was an organized signing and not "kids at a baseball game" as Jimbo asserted.

it is quite obvious you have never been a coach before(which may be irrelevant) and haven't put yourself in jimbos shoes(relevant).

if you put yourself in jimbos shoes and completely **** on your star QB and think he is guilty. godspeed son, welcome to walmart, give me a smiley face sticker

Notre Dame played their A - game

FSU played their B+ game

If FSU plays their A- game and notre dame plays their A game,

FSU wins by more. FSU has been scraping by playing really inconsistent, they are legit good

Some of you may want to pay special attention to the part about how frequently victims walk away with screwed up memories and drive themselves crazy because they can't make things add up, along with the tidbit that tpd leads interviews with rape victims in the hospital with "Are you sure you were really raped, or was it consensual and you just want the morning after pill so you don't get pregnant?" Oh yeah, that was his opening line to a woman in a hospital bed with choke marks on her neck ffs (not the Winston case), and he's actually in their SVU.

Strangely enough, I did not remember the part about the Winston cop also doing private security work for the "Seminole Boosters", nor the part where he told the woman's attorney he wouldn't get Winston's DNA because it might cause publicity. Heh, to be honest, there's just way too much nonsense to keep up with.

------------------------------

Dids; Vaguely recalling your stance that with no "new" evidence you see no need to reconsider your previous opinion--why don't you consider that exposé on the TPD's ubiquitous case-burying for football players may contradict much of your earlier understandings? It actually was a significant portion of that side that, "The cop not really investigating probably and mostly investigating her means he didn't believe her, and the cops are pretty good about knowing when someone isn't trustworthy, so we should take his professional opinion as pretty meaningful." Setting aside that I think that was pretty cow-****-for-brains stupid anyway, well now that we know it is just their standard procedure to do that with anyone accusing a football player of anything, maybe you actually should go back and try to remember if that was part of your basis. I mean, would that really be the hill you'd want to die on?

Because I'll tell you--I just *tried* to go back and find your reasoning posted and...I just can't do it. I made it as far as the woman's attorney giving her follow-up presser, when you pretty quickly decided the lawyer was a desperate loon grasping at straws, then a day later found an article covering the same presser as dubious and bogus because it seemed to portray the lawyer coherent and making substantive points, which you knew was not at all true because you saw it is a statement full of random tidbits WHILE FOLLOWING TWEETS FROM THE PRESSER IN REAL TIME, FFS!!! No one deserves to have to wade through things like that--most of these guys are just innocent kids, man, give 'em a break. Kids jamming their thumbs through their eyes after seeing something like that is just not funny.

I hope you are happy that I now have a ****ing splitting headache, btw. I think you should really check to be sure there was actually any logic to your reasoning, should you be able to find it, and if in hindsight any of that reasoning was actually well informed when it was made.

FSU fans don't seem to realize that the reason "the whole world" is against them is because their fanbase is reacting to this **** in an uniquely terrible way. It's ****ing unbearable as an outside observer to see the 24/7 pity party #FSUTwitter throws itself, like the real bad guy here is Finnebaum and the real victim is someone who had to hear some ESPN hot takes that they didn't agree with.

UGA fans are angry at BS NCAA rules, angry at the dealer for snitching, angry at Gurley for taking payments... but they aren't angry at ESPN for reporting on it.

A player having eligibility/crime problems has happened before. Yes, even to QBs for contenders. Golston just missed a whole year and ND fans didn't, AFAIK, spend that entire year screaming at people on Twitter about "teh bias".

Yeah this isn't a case of getting the haters mad. Johnny Football last year is a good case of that. Signing autographs, funny celebrations, going out gambling and partying and getting all the traditional people angry because he's not playing the game the right way or respecting the NCAA, etc...excellent case of getting the haters mad

Jameis and his enabler (Jimbo) who steadfastly proclaims that Jameis has done nothing wrong despite him pretty clearly being a rapist, terrorizing neighborhoods with BB guns and just being an all around bad guy is not getting haters mad. It's perfectly fine to hate on people who do objectively terrible things like that.

I'm aware jimbo's contract is totally incentive laden and continuing to defend Jameis is in his best financial interests, but it's also clear Jimbo and Jameis are totally despicable humans.

***HOMER ALERT***

Wow, the FSU hate is strong in here. I think it is a bit presumptuous to flat out call Jameis a rapist when the accuser can't even remember what happened or at best tells different versions of what happened (says she was hit on the head/intimates that she was drugged). No one posting on this board knows what happened.

Also, flawed investigation does not = guilty. If Jameis is innocent, it does him no favors either. The SAO's laughfest press conference certainly did Jameis no favors in the eyes of the public.
