obv the groups aren't correlated, so it's more or less the chances of bangladesh qualifying + the odds of zimbabwe or ireland qualifying. i can't think there's too many situations whereby both zim/ire come in but i've had too much to drink to do all sorts of crazy backwards probability ****. exec probably has it right though, maybe it stretches to as low as 40% for a non top 8 qualifier

Our bowling unit without Mcclenaghan and Mills looked fairly average last night, but tbf the pitch was a road and we seemed to be ****ing around

Vettori at 5 was shocking, guessing it was just a place holder for now. Not sure Mills is the answer, but defensive bowling is going to be required defending totals of 280-300 as we're likely to see. Both sides have struggled batting first so far, will be interesting to see if that theme carries on.

The problem is that the team that jags the upset then has to win the other two games they need to win, and then have which ever team drops a game to also lose the games they need to lose.

There will definitely be at least one or two losses for the top eight teams, but unless its exactly one team that runs pure like Ireland it probably will not be enough to make a difference.

This format is seriously gayballs. 42 matches and then quarterfinal is aids. Much prefer the 99 and 2003 formats with the super sixes => semifinals. So many meaningless games here.

You would think in a country of more than a billion people that they could find 3 bowlers of Ishant Sharma's height (preferably one left hander) and Yadav's pace. Actually make that 10 bowlers. They have to be somewhere over there.

Seen as how we are getting pasted by Scotland regularly now it seems, I dunno about that.

Whole team is out of form, and starting to think we won't have the bowling to even be competitive.

I have no idea how Im going to watch the matches, I used to use Wiziwig tv, but now I find its been shut down!!!!
