Its just drunk fans going ape**** because we won a game of football. The problems are that some fans start celebrating on top of the bus tops or on statues which leads to police intervention which leads to rioting.
The damages are 300 buses that were attacked which means the service is going to be more awful than normal tommorrow.

Nowadays I dont stay for the clashes because I dont feel like running from a patrol or recieving tear gas. I stayed at the city centre because I went to have dinner on a restaurant.

I really DO want Aussies to at least get a point. They deserve something, they've had a good world cup. Just got the unluckiest group

Yeah definitely, not to mention in both of their losses they were giving the better team a hard run. I actually thought they deserved the game vs Chile and it was close vs Netherlands. Buuuuut

Yeah you gotta hand it to them. They played way better then pretty much everybody expected. Spain will try to get it together and at least end the WC with a win. But the Aussis might have a chance, didnt expect Spain to loose the second game though.

Might this be the end of Tiki-Taka? For me it seems as Spain pretty much lost it the moment Guardiola left Spain. Real and Athletico play a different style and Barca isnt the dominant team anymore it was a few years back.

Spain didn't play their tiki-taka this year. They tried to play more vertically, but forgot to use the wings, and abandoning the control passing game left their defense exposed and they got clobbered behind. They were set up to play tiki-taka but tried to do something else, and the result was horrible. It didn't help that everyone buy maybe Iniesta and Ramos quit.

Still one of the best periods in history for any team, but I'm just trying to say that I think VdB didn't do that well with them. They could have been so much more, or they could have lost a shootout or two.
Dominance in football is not measured by margin of victory. During their run they hardly gave up any goals. They didn't need a second goal. They were a great team because of Luis Aragones. Del Bosque's virtue was to not **** up something good (which is not so easy). This year he failed at that.

Im actually surprised that Spain didnt exploit our inability to defend aerial game. Also wtf Casillas,Im sorry but he should never play an international game again. Spain were really poor today overall. [

Claudio Bravo was awesome, Sanchez was fine too.
agree on all these

Now the debate is what we do against Holland, right now my opinion is that we should rest Vidal and Mena and otherwise throw our strongest XI.
I think it's clearly better for you to play Croatia/Mexico, so I think you have to try hard to beat the Dutch.

More like Mex/Croatia, Italy, Argentina. France would be on the other side. But what route to the finals is ever going to look easy at this point. One side is Argentina and Italy but the other is Germany, Brazil, France. Since that quadrant is the one without Germany, Brazil or Argentina, I think it's clearly the "easiest."

So now there will be an inquisition into Spanish football. No one expected that.

Chile/Netherlands is the game that matters for group position but Australia/Spain might be a game to watch nonetheless. While there will be a certain amount of disappointment among the Socceroos I doubt any of them really thought they were making it out of the group alive. There's a general feeling here and abroad that they have done their country proud despite the results. That is, if I can use a little understatement, not exactly the case for Spain. There's blood in the water, the Socceroos are a young side and Timmy Cahill has an unlimited supply of WIM. I expect them to let their hair down and have a real go at the dejected Spain side and it could get entertaining.

well i'd think vdb will play all the youngins with a view towards the future.

koke, cesc, martinez, pedro, silva, diego costa, ddg, alba, ramos, pique will be the main figures for euro 2016

yeah spain was ridiculously dominant, they imposed their style and forced everyone else to accept technical inferiority and adjust thusly, using scorelines as if they were jammy mourinhoportotards is pretty lol
