We suck so much at home, ten times better on the road which gives me hope travelling to Macedonia.

England were good imo. Always nice to see teams diverse from 4-4-2.

Just got home from Norway - Denmark (1-1). The great support and enthusiasm from the crowd didn't seem to rub off on our players.

The Danes owned us for the better part of the game, with precise passes and quickly moving the ball up field, somewhat helped by us not being aggressive enough and giving away possession what seemed like half the time we had the ball. Early goal by Denmark followed by a early second half attempt just off the bar. Norway played good for one ten and one five minute period in the second half which got us the equalizer and a couple half chances. We were severely lacking in the physical department up top and I'd like to see Braathen put on earlier.

Gotta be very happy with one point and still leading the group with three points down to Portugal in second.

This almost feels like a loss to me, we (Denmark) were by far the better side in this match. Rommedahl hit the ball like never before, and then he nearly made another wondergoal in the second as well. Surely something we never will see again from him . We did unnecessarily give Norway the total initiative a few times throughout the game though, but at the time of the equalizer it felt like we had gotten it back. Good counter attack for the goal but it was a silly mistake to leave the defense so vulnerable in that part of the game.
Overall a pretty good game though, credit to both sides. Denmark was not quite as shaky in defense as we have seen recently, but there are still a lot of improvements to be made there. Bendtner frustrates me, but of course he is by far the best choice right now. Eriksen as always.

A win would have created funnier headlines tomorrow as well

70 mins into my DVR of ESP:CZE. can someone explain to me why ESP was taking the vast majority of their corner kicks short. why would they do this? they can get that dribble around the penalty box whenever they want.

i posted my question when ESP was still down 0-1 so they weren't trying to dribble out the game. i guess this is one part of their style i don't understand.

this is true. it seems that a high % of goals in professional football are scored on corner kicks. so it surprised me to see ESP not sending the ball into the box directly from the corner kick spot.

they are a top-notch side so they know what they are doing.

putting in high balls to xavi, iniesta and co can never be the best option. Sure, pique, puyol and busquets, but playing on the deck is better
