I highly doubt the current board will resist this, they will resign in less than 7 days for sure. Great for RM, keep the same players and ridiculous salaries for as long as possible. The longer they delay the reconstruction, the longer it will take them to bounce back. And Koeman is gone in 4 months tops.

The only “worry” with Messi would be his age, overall matches played, and if injuries will start to mount due to those factors. But, Even if he only gets like 23-28 EPL matches a season due to injuries that haven’t happened yet, he’d still get over 30 goals for city or come really damned close.
