L'equipe reporting only Arsenal have made an offer for Aouar, Guendouzi+cash, with Lyon wanting to wait for a bidding war.

Would be absolutely stoked, Aouar+Gabriel+Willian is a pretty great summer, would rather take Aouar over Partey, not that they're that similar of players.

Not sure what shackle is but McKennie's a decent player, though he didn't really take a step forward last season as many hoped. He's a real ball of energy without any glaring weaknesses, and has played pretty much every midfield position for us (from being the first one to press the opponent buildup to DM) and CB in a pinch. He doesn't seem to have a nailed on best position though, so I guess you can either say he's super versatile or if you don't feel generous call him a Jack of all trades kind of player. I'd say roughly 20 million quid is probably fair, though we're kinda forced to sell to not go broke so idk

DDG will absolutely get benched if his form doesn't improve. I'm fine with bringing in Henderson to at a minimum pose a real threat to his place.

Money isn't a big deal our wages/turnover ratio is one of the lowest in the league.

it instantly makes them more solid and instead of spending 100m on a striker they can spend it on the 8 other positions they urgently need to replace

When Barca signed Griezmann I among with other posters pointed out that signing a 10 made no sense since you had Messi and was told that Griezmann would replace Suarez as a striker. What happened to that?

Thiago Silva linked to Chelsea reported by Romano and Athletic. Could be a pretty good and relatively cheap stopgap option for our central defense which would leave us with more money to spend on a new GK and LB.

If true I think Chelsea are having a very good window. I'm fairly amazed no one competed with them for Werner given his buyout clause. I agree 50m isn't smashing it but he seems like a fairly no brainer signing in a position they need.

I think from a strategic point of view oil money owners should hammer the next few windows given how much uncertainty is in the market and selling clubs happy to cash in.
