Why would anyone rather play for Liverpool than Chelsea at this point of time? Way better chcnce to win stuff with Chelsea than Liverpool.

thanks for the history lesson, gramps!

i think players have always chased the money, and the most money used to be found at United, Liverpool, and Arsenal. now it's not, so much. i think most players could really give a **** who has the mostest history evar. they want money, and exposure (winning ****, CL football, etc). if the money wasn't in the EPL, i doubt they'd even be in the league. all things considered the best players in the world would probably rather be in Spain or Italy.

Thats cause they are afraid to play in the Premier League. Pussies.

Ooooo its too fast and too rough

Or they don't want to have rain on 360 days of the year.

Depends what you're after. For me there would be more immortality in bringing back glory to a club that had been lost in the wilderness than the would be in bringing yet another title to the current champions. If I were a top flight footballer I'd see more glory in being one of the heroes who brought the title back to Liverpool (or Arsenal, or Tottenham, or Man City) than in being a footnote to Utd or Chelsea's nth consecutive title run. Just my opinion.

Or one of the Man Utd players who was in teh squad that won the 19th title to go beyond Liverpool

That's huge.

Bringing it back to anfield would be huge.

Winning the first title for City in their dull history would be quite big as well.

Yea but what is the probability of that.

Reality = try and help Pool break back into the top 5 or try and help Chelsea win the quad.

What would you choose?

Why would not want to play for Liverpool and get your house burglarized every European away match..

My favourite Malcolm Allison quote, speaking about former manager and racist Ron Atkinson.

Quote:
They call him Big Fat Ron because he's a big spender on transfers. I just call him Fat Ron.

Curiously lolerpool seems to be the 2nd most supported ..... Asian Scouse ftw?

Chelsea, Arsenal, Barca lots of shirts as well. Sure enough I've seen a fair number of Bayern shirts here this time around, saw basically 0 when I was here a year ago ....... biggest frontrunners of all time.
A lot of Asians have grandfathers from Manchester or Liverpool.
