Aww ffs he's not even on the bench!

No, they've been singing it every time they've took the lead in a game recently.

Fulham away I think was the first time - maybe Korn will confirm.
Twas the Fulham game, good knowledge

It was shortly after Mancini had been getting some bad press.

Toure's still injured at the moment but I don't think it's too serious

Thought so.

He's coming out, having 2 City players at the back doesn't float well with me wanting them to keep clean sheets :P

Harts staying in the sticks though.

lol no goal-line camera for City's 2nd goal. It looked very close either way as to whether it crossed

I haven't said a word

Brum away is no gimme for United though so City could be top for a whole 24 hours

Watching City-Villa and Spurs-Newcastle.

I wouldn't even say it's one of City's better games but Aston Villa are completely harmless right now.

Balotelli has attacked the box better without the ball in this game and did well to get on the right side of the defender to win the penalty. That's been really lacking when Tevez has been there, but a good sign for the future, even if just one game.

I kind of feel bad for him that he has to find forced smiles though when he scores. It's obvious everyone wants him to and he is not feeling comfortable for some reason. Well, maybe he will eventually, it's a new thing for him after all. It's funny.

Zabaleta might not roll over and out of the starting lineup after all. He is consistent and Kolarov has been surprisingly bad defensively I think. He looked better as a wing-back with three centre-backs in Italy and I remember thinking this for Serbia as well. Has the talent to adjust though.

Spurs - Newcastle has been decent. A lot of physical play from Newcastle from the usual suspects who of course goes on to claim the Spurs players keep diving.

With Carroll sometimes it's almost like he prefers attacking the man rather than going for the ball. What a brute.

Palacios has really struggled with passing when under pressure from the Newcastle midfielders which has provided them with their best moments going forward.

Bale watch? He still has his moments but is perhaps looking a bit worn.

I do remember some very solid defensive games from Birmingham against good teams the last couple of seasons, but they better not be ******ed and play 4-4-2 like Bruce/Sunderland did.
12-28-2010 , 12:02 PM
Birmingham are shite and i hope to god they go down, which isn't to say tonight is a gimme though

Don't count our chickens to early.

Will be tougher than you think.

thing about redzone plan is that i'm pretty sure there are laws against 3pm games being televised in the UK

well what makes tonight slightly trickier is that Brum had the weekend off. bookies odds would suggest we have around 65% chance of winning. if you feel we have more then feel free to profit
12-28-2010 , 12:09 PM
LOL at people calling Brum at home a pushover. They beat Chelsea...

Nevermind

As Bjorn said they can be very solid defensively and I think they barely lost a game at home last season. Add to that United's average away record and it could be tough.
