as an american that has full slates of pro sports on every holiday that we can, it's amusing to see how PISSED english soccer fans are about the prospect of a christmas eve game.. do you guys actually enjoy spending time with family or something?

is it like a public transportation schedule thing? i guess that could make sense, public transportation isn't really a thing here. no one is taking a bus or a train to the annual cowboys game on thanksgiving day. if anything its much easier to get to a sporting event on a holiday than a regular weekday here.

When you factor in that most people care more about being home on December 25th than they do on December 27th or January 2nd it is. But also you’re adding one more date to that.

This has got 1-0 Spurs written all over it.
Palace with no Eze or Olise have no penetration. They have shots that have no chance of going in, which will get Ducky’s xG juices flowing but, as the rest of us know, xG means f all if you don’t have finishers.

Im on palace +.5 so draw works for me. They are just toothless in attack without eze/olise so I've been hesitant to do much betting on them in general. xG general thinks spurs are a solid team so I'm more often finding edges on spurs than against them in many cases since markets underrated them early season. At this point though markets are much closer to where spurs are so I suspect I'll see less plays on them going forward.

Micky’s pace is such an insane cheat code. Palace team is slow, but he’s blasting past them so easily from what should be tough positions.
