This is obviously not going to happen, but if we win the FA cup do we **** Burnley/Arse out of 7th place EL qualification?

lol just checked and you can get 20/1 on us

Wasn't there a thing about it being quite an early vote which may go against him. Oddschecker have him circa 1/3, when in reality he should be pretty nailed on.

Yes, Southampton get the place rather than the seventh place in the league.

I think there is a scenario where Burnley could finish 6th and still miss out if Southampton win the FA Cup and Arsenal win the Europa League.

Yes I think that's correct.

TOTY looks pretty good to me. Possibly Firmino over that scrub Aguero?

But ya

Disgusting.

**** stupid.

He has insane pace and opens up a lot. But does a ton of stupid ass things that nets the positives

PSG tho

Been here long time. I’m the authority.

Salah easily POY. VVD signing of the year as well. Absolutely immense.

Mendy back next season will be sweet tho.

LEGGO WBA
Don't know about you guys, but I can't wait for next season's OP

Would go Sterling over Aguero and Fernandinho instead of Eriksen and definitely someone (not sure who - Lascelles?) instead of lolOtamendi. Alonso seems strange too.

aguero is the only debatable one between firmino/son/sterling, rest is spot on. alonso easily the best lb this season despite doing scummy things.

LOL Otamendi

Pretty surprising the worst striker in football made it. Bus mad

Firmino must make it. Son is close too. Sterling is good but Son>Sterling based on consistency imo, but that might be my eyetest being aids

LOL at Sterling over Firmino, Son, or Aguero.

Surprised at how many people are ok with Otamendi at CB. He's a massive liability and has been exploited repeatedly in the handful of games that actually present a challenge to them. Agree with Eric that Alonso is the choice at LB. Robertson GOAT but we were still trotting out Moreno until Christmas so doesn't qualify. I'd homer it up and put Firmino over Aguero but would have no argument if Son was there. Rest is pretty straight forward apart from Otamendi

I think it could go either way with Barton. He's obviously an intelligent bloke so if he can keep his temper in check he could make a success of it.

Good to see a high profile ex-player prepared to start at a club in the lower leagues, Sol Campbell, Dwight Yorke etc take note.
04-18-2018 , 12:00 PM
I don't give him a chance. He has neither the mentality nor the understanding to make a success of it. He is nowhere near as smart as he thinks he is. Happy to be reverse langered when he wins the CL with Newcastle.

Yea not sure what the "obviously intelligent bloke" is based on. Seems to be someone who consistently makes bad decisions.

Past is the past though so gl to him.
04-18-2018 , 12:37 PM
There’s no actual argument apart from eyetest to have Son or Firmino ahead of Sterling. Sterling has significantly more goals more assists more wins.
04-18-2018 , 12:37 PM
Obviously saying whether the guy will be good manager or not based on if he’s smart of not seems stupid.

I can’t imagine TOny pulls being a very smart guy. And he’s done very very well as a manager.

Firmino has more shirtless celebrations though.

how he will do: luck*budget

how people will think he has done: luck*budget*(chance he'd pass an audition for the role of a successful football manager in a fictional tv program)

Rumours of a very weak Utd tonight.

I'm basing on the impression I get by hearing him speak, particularly the recent podcast interviews he's been doing.

Yes, he's made some bad decisions but I don't think they necessarily demonstrate a lack of intelligence, perhaps with the exception of his gambling, but I think the biggest mistake there was doing it so openly unlike most footballers who no doubt use somebody else's account.

If his foray into management is a failure, I daresay it'll be a spectacular one.
