Assuming these top (top) scouts get paid a lot. Remember on FM07 or 08 getting rid of our top scout as he was earning around 10x the amount of the rest. Also did pretty much my own scouting tbf, didn't use a single recommendation - well except, that we should consider signing Kaka. No **** mate (and they were actually wrong based on real life outcomes).

Carr did a good job with transfers at Newcastle. Sissoko/Debuchy/Cabaye/Cisse/Demba Ba/Tiote/Ben Arfa for 30m is excellent business especially when they sold Cabaye/Debuchy for more than that. It's hardly his fault fat mike Ashley wants zero investment and to sell off key members of the squad whenever they can make a decent profit.
