Hurrah! Man Utd has got a victory. Hope it's a beginning of winning streak. Go reds!

Given our defending today, it gets to at least two

I think its preety clear now that this Liverpool squad is not good enough. The only hope for top 4 is somehow Sturridge being fit the rest of the season or Origi going on Kane mode and scoring 10+ goals. And that would only guarantee a challenge not actually making it.

Most likely Top 4 is Arsenal, City, Spurs and United.

So since KLOPP started plop lost at home to Palace, lost at Newcastle, lost at Watford, lost at West Ham. Is that good?

All those teams are in the top half of the table except Newcastle. On form guide since Klopp took over we're running about 7th. It's a small improvement.

If that's the bar you're setting then you guys are in a bit of trouble

If that is the sample you are basing your judgement on then you guys are in a bit of trouble.

My favourite part of the day was Thierry Henry scratching his head as to why City were so poor away from home, whilst staring at a screen that says City are 20th in Shot converstion away from home.

I really feel sorry for Yaya Toure in a professional sense, I'm sure he has enough money/medals to be able to cope.

Even here he gets completely misunderstood.

Why is it that everyone is in agreement Cazorla is great CM for Arsenal, he hardly ever gets any stick for his lack of defensive output, yet Yaya frequently gets absolutely slaughtered.

They are basically the same player yet Yaya has better physical attritbutes, Yaya's best quality is his technique, vision and ability to move the ball out of tight areas in the middle of the pitch. He's got the best technical ability probably of anyone in the premiership but because he makes one bursting run a game, people think that's what he is, some kind of box to box midfielder.

It really stresses me out, plus somehow he's playing CB in the final of the champions league for Barca one year and in another being the best goalscoring midfielder in the recent Premiership era.

Just because he produces yet another wonderfully executed finish today doesn't mean he's just woken up. I've never known a player to get so much abuse when he scores a goal, because he hasn't scored another 5 like it from Deep CM. He will go down as one of the most under rated players in Premiersihp history in my opinion.

^ I feel he gets penalized a bit by the commentariat because he's 6'3" and probably has a bbc. He has such a big stride it's easy to get labelled as "lazy"

It'd be interesting if Pogba comes back to England if the same pundits rip him because he's "only" scoring 5-10 goals a year so there will be 5-10 game streaks where he doesn't score .... will the narrative be he's lazy when he's not scoring?

I tend to ignore everything pundits say because like you they frustrate me so bad. In England if you are foreign and not seen to be busting a gut they class you as lazy, it's that simple. Headless running around beats cleverness all day for pundits and casual fans.

I forgot to do IDKTS this week until the 12:30 game, which I banked on a City 2-1 win, and I'm having like my best week in weeks :thumb

Tbh don't watch the Championship..i know will do next year..but for anyone that does can they explain how the **** Rudy Gestede managed to score 20+ goals? Has to easily be one of the worst strikers I have ever seen in my life.

Cazorla and yaya play such opposite roles in mf. Cazorla is a dlp who doesn't get forward much, he never gets on the opponents box.

Yaya gets stick because when he's at his best he is unstoppable. This version of yaya shows up for 5 to 10 minutes at most in most games

apparently Jonjo gonna get xfered. Sad.

Looks like John Terry was right about Cech being worth 15 points a season.

Watching live or on MOTD, it feels like you can see it coming a mile away, but defenders keep getting owned week after week, so idk.

Now that you say it, a midfield duo of Jonjo and Simple Jack sounds like something the world can't live without.
