English Football 2015-16 - Leicester City won the league English Football 2015-16 - Leicester City won the league

To win 3 out of our 4 games with this tight schedule with this squad is nearly a miracle, especially crucial 3pts vs City. Although we have a tougher fixture list in the near future City has its fair share of awful away fixtures as well. In addition Sanchez is back in full training and Welbeck can't be far away. Rumors of 1-2 new faces entering in the transfer window are flying up which would be nice given that this is our real shot at winning the league. Next season all the big clubs will get better presumably- LvG most likely goner, Pep for City, Chelsea will see if they will be in the EPL still...

While I agree with this, the main reason I think Campbell took his chance over Ox is his defensive contribution and him being fairly intelligent on the ball. While Ox will try to dribble 3 defenders that are in front of him which he has about 2% chance of succeeding and losing the ball the rest of the time, Campbell will simply try to do a backpass or find a midfielder, he will try most of his dribbles near the opponents box which can rarely result in a direct counter- I can recall 3-4 examples where Ox lost the ball near the middle of the park or even our own half and then just stayed there or just ran back aimlessly.
Also when Campbell loses the ball he will try to get it back or at least make a small foul so he stops the direct counter threat.

Francis Coquelin is starting to run, Santi Cazorla will be back in mid-February, and Mikel Arteta is back now so, hopefully, if we can add one and, if needed, two maximum.

That Townsend thing is incredible.

my favourite part is that he scored on the hardest shot

It's the only angle he can score from.

ActioNJaCkson supporting both Utd and City reminds me of the Fast Show sketch with the plastic fan who supported "SOCCER." Which in turn brings me on to a discussion I had with a few mates recently: what's the funniest ever football comedy sketch?

I insist it's Monty Python's Philosophers' Football Match, but the David Mitchell WATCH THE FOOTBALL promo is elite too and there are countless Skinner and Baddiel candidates. Max Bygraves singing "Elton John Is Homosexual" at a group of Watford fans was a highlight for sure.

Coutinho's shot tunnel vision has been tilting me lately (it just ruins things) and his numbers are definitely getting up there from outside the area but he still gets better chances than Townsend did.

Hard to beat the Mitchell & Webb sketch, but here are a few others:

Alan Partridge

More Mitchell & Webb

and the classic Harry Enfield
