yeah, it must be fun to never give up or admit you're wrong. Enjoy fantasy land horizon.

But you agree that Marcelo should have been sent off two minutes after that?
04-28-2011 , 04:46 AM
Mascherano should get a red to , Messi yellow for hellping him self to get a ball with his hand, Alves two yellow cards(red card) for commiting 8 fouls on Di Maria , and every other Barcelona player for constantly attacking the ref and faking&diving . But yeah of course they are Barca and they are "more than a club"...

For the stamp on Pedro? I admitted earlier in this thread that I missed that and asked if anyone had a link. I just got home from the Pixies and haven't actively searched it out yet.

If I was Barcelona player I sure wouldnt be laughing and having a small chit chat while on of my team mates was "dying" on the pitch....

~1:16 is the best angle. ****er checks where Pedros legs are then just stomps him, twice, and laughs afterwards.

Is the video you posted supposed to actually prove the ridiculousness statement that follows it?

I obviously saw that incident during the game, but from the hype you're giving it here, I thought there was some separate incident in which Marcelo got away with murder. First time all match he managed not to grab his face though.

The back and forth itt about the Pepe Red Card is worse than the 90 min worth of dives and complaining in the actual match.

Sick brag. I went to see them a couple of years ago, they were superb.

Yeah, I don't post in football/soccer threads often. It's hard to read them when I'm not familiar enough with the posters to know whom to ignore. I wish I could sort posters by country of origin ... I think that would help a lot for this sort of thing.

I was quoting Dave chappele KKK skit but whatevs, I guess.

Pro Tip: Ignore whoever is supporting Barcelona with any of these decisions.

Pro tip: Ignore everyone but genuinely neutral observers , there just happen to be none.

anyway, lets talk about something else.

Will this get Mourinho fired?

I cant imagine the Real Madrid higher ups will be pleased with the way his team played last night. It seems like Mourinho has had the fans behind him until now, but some Marca poll apparently found 90+% disagreed with the tactics yesterday. Di Stefano is criticizing him and Valdano is probably doing some politicking behind the doors trying to save his job. There's also his whole personality which doesnt really fit with how Real portray themselves.

On the other hand he's awfully good at winning football games and Perez has invested a lot of political capital in him. If Mourinho is fired, fingers will be pointed at Perez.

I think he will be fired if he goes to the Camp Nou with the same defensive approach he used yesterday (do they even have the players left for that?) or if he tries to attack and get beat 4/5-0 again.

Seeing him go would be good for Barcelona imo. H e doesnt exactly bring out the best in them and he's still a really really good coach and he doesnt exactly bring out the best in them. I kinda dont want to see it happen though. Another 1-2 years of this would be a great test of how good he is and it's the first time he has really experienced adversity.

Initially I thought Pepe's challenge was a yellow. But after seeing this it's not even a freekick. He play's the ****in' ball and never touches Alves.

Barcelona are an absolute disgrace. Plan A: play beautiful football and cheat. Plan B: cheat more and get player sent off. Disgusting.

Edit: Just see the first one has already been posted. nvm.

Pedro does dive quite a bit, but today his acting was out of control compared to normal.

I got nothing in Busquets defense.

It goes a hell of a lot deeper than just Pedro, Busquets and Mascherano.

The fact that no matter where on the pitch a foul is deemed to have been committed against a Barca player Valdes, Puyol and Pique sprint to the referee constantly is a big turn-off as well, as is the whole bench rising up in arms anytime a player is touched(or not touched).
04-28-2011 , 08:31 AM
So barca are all bitches but we overlook the fact that pepe, carvhlo, arbeloa and ramos are dirty bastards then we add ronaldo and di maria diving antics, which makes Real so classy? (almost forgot about the total lack of class shown by Jose when talking about pep, totally uncalled for)

tso baiting the refs backfired on him, lol.
04-28-2011 , 08:38 AM
Are you people accusing Barcelona exclusively of running around the ref after every challenge? Because I think that (as well as many other things) were caused by both teams. And when one team does it, it's kinda hard for the other not to. These are heated battles with a lot of pre-game banter by Jose, etc, to even further make it likely for it to blow up on the pitch. **** is going to happen.

You have to be joking. It's still pretty clearly a yellow as that is a dangerous play to make.

Give Alves a yellow for rolling around too.

I'm not talking about last night in isolation, Barca and the players I mentioned, Pique in particular, do it all the time.
