Me and Fyte On have a trade.

I give up:
#83 + #144 + #244

Fyte On:
#99 + #121 + #230

mod / spreadsheet note: his #99 came from that Charder / Fyte On trade.

I'm taking:

Spoiler:

Aaron Hernandez, TE

Even as Gronk emerged, I felt like Hernandez was potentially a better weapon and one of the up and coming premier tight ends in the league. Gronk has gone a different direction and has gone full beast mode - physically crushing fools, but Hernandez is a little more versatile; he has better hands, is faster, and can easily slide into the slot or even create mismatches split out wide. I believe he is more athletic as well.

Apparently he can also play running back.

He is not the traditional blocking te by any stretch, but I'm gearing my offense towards a spread/passing attack with Luck/McCoy/Marshall.

Hernadez gives Luck a tremendous security blanket and yet another outstanding pass catcher.

He's also only 22, adding another guy with whom Luck can grow.

This team is going to be seriously scary going forward.

TEAM:
Andrew LUCK
LeSean MCCOY
Brandon MARSHALL
Aaron HERNANDEZ

Round 3 pick 71

Brandon Marshall, WR

Marshall is arguably the most underrated WR is all of football. He's tremendously physically gifted at 6'5 230, giving Luck a huge target.

Forgotten on a very mediocre team playing with bad QBs, Marshall quietly had over 1k receiving yards each of the last two years. In the three prior to that with Denver he averaged over 1,200 per year.

At 27 he has some good years left. But most importantly, his game isn't predicated on speed, so even as he starts to lose a step his size will continue to be a huge advantage.

Team ELIte selects a 22 year old sophomore and 2nd team all-pro

Spoiler:
In his role as Free Safety, AdvNFL credits him with 3.19 +EPA/G, higher than Polamalu, higher than Eric Berry last season, even higher than Darrelle Revis (tho a CB and not a S) this season.

Spoiler:

Earl Thomas, 22 year old Free Safety

The Seahawks' jump from the #29 defense (DVOA rank) to the #10 defense can be largely attributed to the progression in his play. He is already considered by many to be the best FS in the NFC, if not the entire NFL.

He is notorious for being the best DB in the NFC in single high coverage.

Team:
QB1: Eli Manning
WR1: Mike Wallace

DE: J.J. Watt
FS: Earl Thomas

I also don't have a QB unless Willis can play both ways.

No surprised to see you doing a monster trade. I guess both sides are happy. Obviously I think WW has the better end of the deal at this moment but who knows.

I think WW took the Pola hate a little too strongly a freaked out, you got an amazing deal

You just don't give up the best player at 28, even though he got a decent return

I think you win the trade for sure because ARodg can do so much alone and there's still plenty of talent left to surround him with

Reasons behind Hernadez hate? Any opposition to what I've posted, or did I just take him too early iyo
