Can NZ beat Afghanistan, make the semis and then go on and win it to become current world champs of both the greatest format and T20?

I definitely think that NZ are favourites to beat Afghanistan.

From then on it's a knockout and anything can happen.

If you think back to the 2015 WC it was expected to be Aus vs India in the final but neither of them made it through.

aussies got it with a huge 19th over, like the first semi the bowling team were firmly in control with 5 to go and it didnt even go to the final over

some fella dropped an easy catch, aus would've been 18 runs needed off 9 balls with a new bloke out there if taken, and then the aussies hit three 6s in a row to end it

Idk - given how good Eng and Pakistan looked in the WC they would have to be disappointed that neither one of them made it.

Anyone going to argue for a game before the top of the group plays - like a 2nd v 3rd then winner plays 1st giving 1st a chance of a final against 3rd?

its t20 so hard to get too exercised, but i'd much rather NZ won. preferably on the last ball due to a terribly unfortunate fielding incident involving warner and smith
