27 run lead but we have to bat 4th.

It's as close to 50:50 as you can get, but it feels like both teams have underscored on this pitch.

Ashwin and Pandya played horrid shots to get out.

I love those centuries where a top order player has carried his bat and scored half the team total

Nice gritty work from Pujara

Good game this

When I see the England spinner destroying the other side, I get very happy and very nervous

The CPL has been very entertaining as a whole, and I've been surprised by how easy this sport is to follow and enjoy. Not much top level talent, but still quality nonetheless.

God damnit for the second time in this test I'd have won the guerilla prediction league with a boundary off the last ball

I always think 200 and not many should be easy to get but amazing how these totals hold up in the 4th inns when teams play away from home

Well done England, solid series win in the end

which I always subconsciously underestimate

Probably from watching a lot of our home and Aussie games where the pitch actually improves over the course of a test

Gotta love Test Cricket

Cook retiring after the Oval. Sad times. Legend

How dare Cook retire, now we need to find two openers

Let's face it, his time was up. Other than the one big score in Australia, on the flattest pitch you'll ever see, he must have terrible stats over the last 10-15 tests. Sad to see given he's not that old.

England's top order is going to look brittle to say the least going forward.

Still, great series and England are a great team to watch at home. You get loads of blowouts but you really never know what to expect.

He should retire straight away and not play the 5th test. Seeing as it's a dead rubber now, he'll probably bang another double.
He should be 12th man and get an ovation every time he brings on the drinks and new gloves/bats.

Being sub fielder and taking Kohli in the slips would be the funniest thing, especially if it's somehow off Jennings' filth

If we can just find a top 3, a top class spinner and have replacements in the wing ready for when Broad/Anderson retire then this could be a really good England side

Yesss Cook survives so I can see his last innings in person.

I know he hasnt been great in the last couple of years and hes played more test cricket than anyone else bar a handful of legends but it still feels like he is retiring painfully prematurely.

Great day for you to go to.
Cook's farewell ton and Jimmy catching McGrath for the most seam wickets.

All at the home of the champions elect.
