Boults bowled more long hops in this spell alone than he did previously all year

Hes just not the same since his injury, what a shame for this series

If this isnt Mark Craigs last test Ill be surprised

Amazing that i agree with bundy about Henry needing to have played from the start, you have to have guys who are quicker and can bang it in over in Oz not just swing bowlers

Yeah it's good stuff. If it was against Sri Lanka or West Indies probably not as bearable but because it is against NZ always good.

I'd throw in the warmup game also just for giggles.

All I've been thinking of through these first 2 tests is Hadlee's emphatic statement before the first test that Southee and Boult are the greatest opening pair NZ has ever produced.

Though to be fair I have seen them bowl better.

This has turned out to be the worst NZ bowling line-up they have ever brought to Australia.

Even if he doesn't get there but gets to 350 say, the question will then become which innings will be held in greater regard between Hayden's 380 vs Zimbabwe or this innings from Warner given also that both innings were played at Perth?

I think at this stage looking at the respective bowling line-ups that the answer has to be Hayden's.

Has to be Hayden. 380 against Zimbabwe is like 500 against NZ

Meanwhile, what a f*cking failure Burns has been. 71, 129, 40. Averaging 80 or so.

F*ck Smith can/does look awkward at the crease. Amazing he is prolific as he is. Must have a phenomenal eye.

Although admittedly for all his pre-delivery shenanigans, he almost always looks to be in a great position at the time he plays his shot.

Certain draw on this road (lol)

But man, the WACA is a shadow of itself

We seriously are not bowling like we have the last 2 years its so frustrating to see

Southee has niggles

Boult is slowly getting better after injuries, a real shame he was so underdone for this series

Bracewell is still green at this level, hasnt played much lately and is nothing special unless its super overcast

Henry is generally good shouldve been in the team ahead of Bracewell

Mark Craig is a ****ing bum and I have always hated him, I hated the fact he took a 7 for against the Windies that kept him in the team for 10 tests because I knew he was rubbish against good batting

Anyways Ill be happy as long as Williamson gets another ton and cements his Allan Border GOAT status to salvage something
