Chanderpaul makes Trott look like Afridi in terms of strike rate.

It was big of Bravo to sacrifice himself there, but if I was West Indies I'm certain I'd rather have Bravo at the crease aorn.

chanderpaul is the most random player ever. anyone who can score a 69 ball hundred against australia on the first day of a test match and yet bat so slowly the majority of the time is awesome in my eyes.

duno why pollard didn't come in when bravo got out

Why do fast bowlers play around with the front foot line so much?. Just measure your run up a few inches behind the front line, I can't imagine it makes that much of a difference.

come on windies. classic hands on knees slip catch. sa batting does not bat deep so even though windies are light on bowling a couple more wickets and wi have a real chance. i suppose i should want sa to win because it makes england passage thru to the quarters easier but its always good see a good sa collapse

When are we doing a cricket draft?

And SA win easy. Yawn.

Nice knock by de Villiers though.

Wow they took care of Amla and Kallis quickly but forgot to dismiss AB.

That'll do it, usually.

Doesn't appear to have been as bad as it sounded. India really have cocked this up though, such a shame.

Does anyone agree this is the ugliest stadia in cricket, that multi storey car park is ghastly. Who was the architect?
Even worse who commissioned it?

C'mon wtf is that ****.

de Villiers has done well in the last few years but i always thought he was gonna be like the best in the world in both forms possibly at some point but he hasn;t really dominated the game quite yet in the way i thought he would although just looking at his averages now for the last couple of years he is certainly scoring more consistently

Hopefully a couple of good games tom. australia newzealand should be somewhat close with aus struggling a bit to adjust and hopefully newzealand put up a performance for the people back in nz.

bangladesh ireland should be close also but i fear bangla will have a bit 2 much for ire at home but watch out for porterfield and stirling first up for ireland. if they stay together for any amount of time theyre gonna score quick.

It looks like it is half collapsed, reminds me a bit of the old Princes Park in Australia where it just looked like the archeitect just made a mistake when putting the thing together

I cant find a good pic, but imagine two ends of a roof not actually really joining together, and that would sum it up really.

Abject fail.

.
Pretty simple, you're given an order to place picks in and you're away.
Writeups for pick choices makes things a lot more fun.

I'd more than likely be in. Would like at least 5 runners

What Draft would we do though?

Possibly in for a giraffe:
Badminton
Isura
Andy
Jameee
Ash

def down for a cricket draft. finally a good match tomorrow. Kiwis usually play Aussies tough but tend to **** the bed in world cup matches.

In for a giraffe. Maybe since World Series Cricket, so 77-78 or so? Or current.

I think all time would have everyone lose interest quite quickly after the first few rounds.

+1 draft

Edit: yeah, current/recent players imo, like anyone who has played international cricket in this century.

I don't even know all the players who have ever played test cricket.

I'd be in for a cricket draft, could be fun even as long as we don't take it too seriously...

Oh wait, this is a laid-back sport. (relatively)

Call me cynical but I suspect that the chief of police would have a pretty good reason to downplay the severity of it. He says nobody was hurt in the incident, but other reports suggest that there were a number of serious injuries. The fact that it has even come to this, a mass bundle for tickets, is a pretty poor reflection on both the ICC and the BCCI.

Well, I've started hearing the occasional rumour recently, about some bloke called Murali.....

But yeah, Botha is pretty bad too
