The Achilles part is a real concern though. It’s tempting to think that because he’s a QB it doesn’t really matter as much as if he was an explosive player. But I’m guessing that isn’t correct and the pressure he needs to push through his feet when passing is huge. Plus he was always ok as a runner

That's what Achilles' cousin said. Look how that turned out.

Assuming they won't be favored against the Eagles, Cowboys or Chiefs they would need to be favorites in all other 14 games.

CJGJ to the Eagles for 3/$33M. Haven't seen the guarantees, but the Eagles need him.

Not thrilled with the Barkley signing (although there is no question he's talented) and Bryce Huff seems to be what Nolan Smith was drafted for. I guess Reddick and Sweat are gone. Is a CB too much to ask for?

And which of those 14 assuming cousins starts would you have the falcons a betting underdog in?

CIN'S FO historically never gives up picks in a case like this. now, trading a sixth round pick to move up 15 or so spots in the 4th round, yes they'll sometimes do that. but giving up multiple picks for a player, ain't going to happen

not sure what PIT is even thinking here

Diontae was fifth in 2022 and seventh last season in ESPN's WR Analytics metric

true

and my expectations have been tempered as Gesicki was DFL (44th of 44) last season among TEs and 56th of 58 in 2022 in ESPN's WR Analytics metric

what if i told you Saquon was nothing more than a replacement level RB with 1,489 career NFL touches on his body?

afraid that's what PHI coughed up all those sweet sweet salary cap dollars for

i'm sure you're 100% right but at the same time in what world do you get to reunite lsu burrow, chase and jj and be like 7/1 co-faves to win the superbowl as the cincinnati bengals? could be the sickest offense oat in excess of '07 pats and feels like we should all wish for it.

surely this is all nonsense? Do we really think any team would/could spend 50% of their cap on 3 players?

55+35+35? That’s what we’d be looking at, no?

don't tell me it's not possible feel wrath

Spoiler:

also can't you hide a chunk of salary in a future year contract? that's what the bengals should do bc it'd be the most exciting show on earth

need bahbah take on Rodgers potentially being VP for RFK Jr

wouldn't the campaign season being during NFL season be tough to balance? guess he could do both

wonder if Rodgers is looking to parlay this into the presidency down the line, he's only 40

Chiefs cleared $21mil in cap space by doing the yearly thing of converting some of Mahomes roster bonus into signing bonus. Lowers his cap hit to under $40mil.

Might be a move to signal other teams they don't have to trade Sneed if the price isn't right or to signal Sneed they're willing to just keep him on the tag.

(Let me preface this by saying I don't know a lot about RFK.)

I completely understand RFK needing Godgers to legitimize his run for president. A lot of people think RFK is goofy so he needs someone who is level headed, well liked, well known, extremely good looking, can throw a football, truthful and doesn't make many mistakes (like throw interceptions). Godgers seems to fit the bill.

I forgot who I bet ITT on Godgers vs JAWSH in the golf thing, but if you want a chance to get your money back I will bet my Godgers vs your JAWSH on who is to become president of the US first. Quote to book.

That should be light work. He wouldn't even have to get sober for that.

According to our two presidential front runners he has ~40 good years to try.

RFK & Rodgers in a Dumb and Dumber style campaign ad would be the highlight of election year. Maybe something involving flat earth theory?

Saquon is good for 1.75 high ankle sprains a season though. While CMC is durable and his greatest attribute is his intelligence. He just runs smarter.
