I'm actually pretty high on his stock. I think he's got what it takes to succeed at the NFL level.

Vikings would need at least two 1s for JJ, maybe more. And they still might not trade him. Their roster is in a really nice place for a rookie QB

They might use an executive order to trade him to the Commanders.

From there it shouldn't make much difference if he's at the training facility in the mornings and at the stadium on Sunday compared to spending his mornings watching FOX News and golfing on Sunday.

counterpoint re Ridley. And just for argument's sake.

is stats for the season were 76 catches, 1016 yds 8TDs.

the most equivalent WRs above and below him for AAV on their contracts are....

DK Metcalf 66 catches, 1114 yds, 8TDs
Michael Pittman 109 catches 1152 yds 4TDs
Terry McLaurin - 79 catches 1002 yds, 4 TDs

and we all expect Tee Higgins to go for far more $$, but over a similar length career in terms of games, Ridley averages more catches, more yards and more TDs than Tee

they're different ages of course

Is the NFL going to do a full investigation into Barkley/Eagles for tampering like checking phone records?

Would be kinda stupid but we know how much the NFL cares about their tampering rules..

Tee likely to be in CIN's starting line-up in Week 1 (unless another team blows them away w a trade offer ... a first and a second would probably get it done ... narrator: a good enough trade wasn't offered)

Boyd was always gone. about to enter his age 30 season. CIN doesn't do 30 yr old+ offensive specialists

we drafted two WRs last year and both look promising enough. team also likely to draft a WR on day 2

How? Is the player ever forced out here? Suzzer probably knows the details, but the Maclin deal stood. The league just took picks and a fine.

I'm actually not sure if Pedo U or the Eagles are more popular in the Philly area, but Franklin should probably have someone else start his car for a while.

They're not going to nix the deal. Worst case scenario would be a fine for Roseman and the team plus a draft pick(s). Half the issue is the alleged "sales pitch" indicating that the Eagles and Barkley's agents didn't agree on a deal before that call happened (allegedly).

Chiefs lost a 3rd and 6th round pick. Monetary fines were reduced on appeal.

makes the Saquon deal even worse if they end up losing a draft pick or picks

my blessing in a disguise comment assumed they could reverse the deal out. appears that isn't an option
