I wonder how long Sean Payton’s tough guy act will last in Denver. People stop listening to bullies and autocrats if the results don’t come. He’s got til at least the end of next year I’d think and maybe longer, depending on who the next QB is.

If he can turn his ego off and tank this year and get a top QB, you’d think he’ll get at least til the end of yr 3 to show improvement. We’ll see if he does that, but I reckon if they lose this week, they might start trading vets to clear the books and ensure they get a top pick

They didn't have CMC, Ayuik and Deebo wasn't Deebo yet. Kittle was probably better though.

Think most would agree 9ers O has gone to a new level with Purdy/CMC arrivals

I was just spitballing, but it seems like perhaps the idea you can build an offense on par with Mahomes/Allen offenses without having the best QBs seems greater now than in recent memory

My guess would be that he’s more likely to do that if it’s Chicago, given their history with QBs. Albeit I think he’s from there so maybe that’s actually his dream?
