I vaguely remember seeing a female groupie's fairly detailed (though likely fake or embellished) first-person account about a one-night stand with Jeter on the internet (Craigslist may have been the original source), maybe around 2000-2005. It had some variations of both the Jeter gift basket story and the "Yeah JEETS" story.

Can't seem to find it anywhere though.

nah he was definitely overrated but obviously belongs in the HOF.
He selfless team player reputation is pure comedy though.
