That's technically not the full time since wheatrich was Officially Skipped (two minutes before he actually picked) but given wheatrich said to skip him it's more time than he should have gotten while still being reasonable to give him a shot to get here and choose.

In the future PM picks to people if you won't be around because I'm going to be a lot less lenient going forward.

Agree with this caveat ill also add is if between now and then he msgs someone and says "Hey just got up gotta get ready and then ill make a pick" or something give him a little more time if he responds and is aware he's on the clock. Otherwise yeah 20ish min from now we'll move on

Regarding Kittle I think the pick is fine just comes down to positonal value of TE. That and also the dirty little secret is while many know that RBs are easy to find later on in the draft in real life, it's even more true for TEs. Look at most of the top 15 or so TEs in the NFL: most dont get taken in the 1st rd in the NFL draft. In the past when Ive done redrafts Ive gotten guys like Trey Burton, George Kittle, Mark Andrews and Chris Herndon real late.

But I think if Kittle proves he can be a 1200 yd guy each yr(not a lock) while also being a v good blocker, he'll be fine and wont be a guy people look back on as a reach

And yeah I generally try to respect the fact that we have people in non-American time zones and I try to look for reasons not to skip people this early in the draft when each slot is valuable, but I'm gonna have to tighten up going forward to keep this thing moving.

Once their window is then over, they're skipped.

Anyone skipped can come in and snipe at any point but the windows remain on schedule.

That's generally how I would do it, yeah. I made an exception this time because feel wrath is on Oz time and may not have known / expected wheatrich volunteered to be skipped.

This is the NFL, just like the draft you can find talent super super deep.

There's just very few blue chippers, but once the qbs have gone the diff between pick 23 and 36 is pretty inconsequential. So it doesn't matter if guys get skipped and have to come in and make two picks, they haven't given up THAT much value.

NBA is different.

issue with that is this is a dying forum

if guys are leery to send pm'd lists as to give other guys ideas, there's easy workarounds

as long as you're dealing with someone you trust anyway

I don't look at pm's unless a guy is up and i need to make the pick for them, spoiler each pick sequentially so I only have to use and see the first one that is available

NBA nothing you do would affect my list, here could be diff so substitute me for someone else you think you may influence less if they're not honest

Top 10 catches according to nfl.com. You'll see him running by a bunch of [UNDRAFTED] players, many of them will be taken in the next two rounds. That's nice but you're not beating my team. Linebackers or those combo safeties have no chance of catching him.

You can't name [UNDRAFTED] of the 9ers leading WR. There might not be more than a few guys on that entire roster picked in this draft.

Oh and he blocks too unlike some TE's in the league, he's not just standing there he wants to maul you. High effort, great athleticism, nobody can cover him one on one, nobody but cb's and top tier s's can catch him in the open field.

In three games against los angeles teams he went off for a combined total of 372 yards. This with jack **** as teammates.

You know who his mockdraftable comp is? [UNDRAFTED] STARTING RUNNING BACK. Except Kittle is actually a slightly better athlete than he is.
