Nah, Wiggins stinks and is a horrendous defender

Plenty of all-O no-D guys have been drafted though. Yes they are mostly all better than Wiggins on offense but they also get paid 3-4x his salary. 7mil for a primary or secondary offensive weapon is fair, even if you get nothing on the flip side but I am bullish on his ability to improve on D.

Beal is a great fit with CP3, I think he's paid too much though.

For sure overpaid but that's what turner @ 2.5 allows you to do

Lots of the cheapskate teams will be paying up for guys much worse than Beal later on imo

I had a feeling that was where loldolphins was going and why I was confident in not getting sniped. For me it was a toss up between the two but felt a significant edge towards the guy I'm going to draft anyway.

With Cousins a star in the front court, I wanted shooting in the back court. Someone with tremendous range, the best in the league not named Steph, who will space the floor, but who can also create and score on his own. With Crowder in place to lock up other teams best players, I'm ok sacrificing a little bit on defense here. Plus with the draft inexplicably snaking after this round, this was my last chance to be sure I locked up a top 6 player at his position, which we now have 3 of our 5 spots.

Similar to dolphins, drafting Crowder also allows me to overpay here for one of the best shooters in the game and someone who will provide plenty of scoring, and will rise to new heights once he's freed from DAME. Patriot League in the house!

Spoiler:
CJ McCollum $23,962,572

G- CJ McCollum $23,962,572
F-Jae Crowder $6,796,117

Thanks. I pretty much agree with this. And on my team he will have some help offensively, hopefully able to commit some more to D. And having Gasol over Towns at C will afford some more help on that side too.

CJ is a good pick. One of the guys I expected to regress hard last season but I was just flat out wrong about. Guy is a baller (on offense anyway)

If this was ABBBB then I was taking Capela there. But couldn't risk not getting a scorer in the back court. Great pick

Pleaseeee don't get another big with Boogie LFC. He's a 5 in every way, surround him with wings who can shoot. You're doing a great job so far. Capela woulda been awful imo

That def played into it. Team construction. But Capela at that price is fine coming off the bench too. Hopefully looking to build a complete team not just a starting 5, but obviously the latter is a priority. I'm also trying to take defense into account to not only have a sexy team on paper but one that can guard the LeBron/Durant super team. At least the LeBron team already has a player I can hide McCollum on and let Crowder lockup LBJ

Well when two non top 30 overall players go in the top 6 and the 9th best player itl goes #1 overall it stands to reason the bottom of the draft should be stronger than usual.

I was going to go with like any of 5 other guys, but I need a guy who can carry high usage to go along with Gobert/Middleton so I'll pay Eric Bledsoe $14.5m (iirc) to get things done. Out & about.

Really solid threesome.

dolphins has the best drafted 3, mainly due to Turner. I think Wall is prbly a superior player to Paul for winning in the playoffs factoring in age and size at this point. I think Hayward is better than Beal also, but Turner as a spacing 5 with size/bulk is what separates him. Currently anyway.

I think J's team is really good too and prbly about equal to mine give or take. I love Gobert tho. LFC's team is really good too but I'm curious to see what point he ends up with, worst case (or best case) run CJ like Russ with a diff guy at the 2.

I don't love charder's team but it's not like it's bad drafting, I'm just low on IT2 and don't like the pairing with Blake.
