I strongly considered IT2 with my first pick because of the cheap salary but his hip and midgetry combined with players I simply like more at the position deterred me. It is evident that you are going to need some cheap contracts in your starting 5. Therefore, with my 2nd pick I will be going for a player who can do a little bit of everything, including locking up multiple positions on defense, and comes at a bargain price, in another extremely thin position. With our 2nd round pick Team LFC_USA selects

Spoiler:
Jae Crowder $6,796,117

Yeah, was planning on taking Crowder. Couldn't decide if I was miserable about that that reality, or just slightly disappointed, but I think it's the right thing to do.

Good question, I was thinking they should be off the board until signed unless anyone has a better suggestion.

I was wondering if LFC would take one of the expensive but good guards, but in reality they don't seem like good fits. Jae is an elite role player and that makes sense for Boogie.

I think he should continue to draft guys who are perpetually pissed off from here on out.

Thanks, wanted to prioritize defense in this thing as well. Think there will be plenty of scoring available in the 3rd round and picking Crowder gives us very solid defending and the flexibility to spend a little next round

Is there anyone other than undrafted bad tenant (suggestion 12m) that would be a big mistake to make him the min?

I also gotta weigh in on Blake. I get why you took him but feel like he was the elephant in the room that no one really wanted but eventually someone felt like they had to take him. Major do not want for me

Minimum seems low considering some of the guys out there. Why not just go with 2016-2017 salary or something?

I think that's good. heck we can even assign a number to him and put him out there just to make the draft fair. The other ones I think might be steals at the miminum:

Undrafted RFA PFs out of Chicago and Memphis
Undrafted top 10 asset replacement dookie

I think if we give those guys minimums they become steals, but I'm cool with whatever the group and ultimately RT agree upon.

or this, what about splitting their difference and using their cap holds?

undraftable seems the most fair to me. Each is a unique circumstance that may or may not receive money close to their previous contracts/cap holds

I just needed someone on Amurrica time to draft with.

Don't worry, I got respect for you tchaz

Fun draft so far.

IT2 is a steal. loldolphins is crushing it so far, I'm really interested to see how his team fills out.

Unless I'm thinking about this wrong the cap hold is higher than both the minimum & their last salary, so not really splitting the difference, but I think that's a legit option.

No, it was definitely too early.

I'm of the opinion that Round 1 should be more/less chalk.
