In case some didn't hear, UF walk-on Michael Guilford and another UF student(Joe Haden's GF) was killed last week in a motorcycle accident. Should be some even extra emotion/motivation this week.
TFG,

Sorry to hear about the loss. (I had heard about this a couple of days ago, btw)

Both teams already have alot to play for and I am expecting another classic game this Saturday. Are you making the trip into Lexington?

Les
Nah I wish I was, but can't.

Ya, I assumed Fla will win this weekend though, just a gut feeling.

There will probalby be 2 teams on each side that control their own destiny after this weekend, but will be scheduled to play so it will work itself out nicely.

Florida needs Tennessee to lose SEC games, so...

What a year for the SEC. LSU remains our only national title contender, but if there were a football version of March Madness two SEC teams in the final would not be a surprise. Looking at LSU's schedule, it would be just sick to see them left out at 12-1.

Rankings:
1 LSU
2 Florida
3 Kentucky
4 Auburn
5 South Carolina
6 Georgia
7 Bama
8 Tennessee
9 Arkansas
10 Vandy
11 Miss St
12 Ole Miss

Bama looked great against Vols. LSU will have an easier time against Bama than AU IMO bc AU def. is better. Hope BAma wins though!

BTW, has any team ever played 3 games in a row like LSU/Florida, LSU/Kentucky, LSU/Auburn? Any of the three could be considered the game of the year IMO.

If LSU wins out, including the SEC championship game they will have played 6 (potentially 7 if Alabama gets ranked) top 20 teams. Virgina Tech, South Carolina, Florida, Kentucky, Auburn, & whomever they play in Georgia for the Title game... say want you want, this is probably the toughest schedule in college football.

*I fully expect them to be #1 going into the SEC title game.

Florida vs Auburn, Florida @ LSU, Florida @ UK

Tougher because 2 of 3 on the road.

I'm not really trying to fantasize, but if there were all 1 loss teams & then UF wins out, then what would happen. Similar to your above scenario.

If Florida were to win out as well as LSU I feel that the winner of the SEC title game wins the National Championship.

Most of the time Im a Florida basher, but after seeing them in person this year I have a ton of respect for that team.

3-7 are all very very close IMO. The only two great teams are UF and LSU.

This would be a crazy scenario. It's hard to believe that a 2 loss team has a shot. I still think a team like WV or someone would go instead though.

Yeah, I wasn't saying they were tougher. I meant more exciting than any 3-game stretch I've heard of. UF/Kentucky was great, but not quite as thrilling as the others.

Actually I think 1-4 are close and 6-9 are close, with SC sort of hard to figure. Anybody can beat anybody, but those top 4 have played some ridiculous games against each other and just look better to my eye. Clearly LSU is the class of the league though. The top 4 only have 2 losses against the other teams and they were both 3+ turnover margin games. Obviously anyone can beat anyone on a given Saturday.
