I just uploaded a new version of Poker Sleuth, with a new feature for Poker Crunch.

Poker Crunch now has a "To Clipboard" button for posting to online forums, such as 2+2. Here's an example:

That's not a screenshot or anything. I just clicked "To Clipboard" in Poker Crunch and pasted directly into this post.

Enjoy!

Poker Sleuth version 0.9.6.201 is up, featuring:

- a fix for Adrian20XX's crash
- reduced CPU usage during play
- quicker start-up and reduced memory usage on systems with large numbers of hand history files

Is there/will there be a way to save how many hands you have displayed in the toolbar, so you don't have to move the slider every time you start pokernotes?

It's on my to-do list.

It's actually a harder problem than one would like to think--even the Windows Quick Launch bar forgets it's size if you turn it off and on again (right click the taskbar -> Toolbars -> Quick Launch).

No worries, done a damn good job so far.

Give it a try and let me know if that solves the problem.
I tried it yesterday but the problem still existed.

Has the problem become less severe, at least?

It's hard to tell, I run it for maybe a couple of minutes while 4-tabling and there were like 5-6 copies created.

Well, I've uploaded a new version of Poker Sleuth. I ditched the database library I had been using and wrote a much faster one from scratch. That will dramatically reduce the amount of time that Poker Sleuth holds a lock on the database files, which will hopefully make the OnGame software happy.

The new version also contains a few bugfixes for the Poker Notes post-to-forum feature.

Anyone care to test out iPoker support for me?

In a few minutes, I'll be uploading PokerSleuth 1.0.

1.0 has a trial period of 7 days, after which a registration fee of $27.99 is required. You can also get a free registration by signing up with one of our numerous affiliates like Blockbuster or The Economist (not all affiliates may be available in all areas).

Since 1.0 is not much different from the last beta version, I wouldn't blame you if you want to hang on to the beta version a little longer.

The registration fee includes free upgrades to any 1.x version of PokerSleuth, and I have some exciting new tools planned for 1.1.

I think it's better now, but there were still 15 copies created during 1.5 hour session (~400 hands).

That does sound much better. Earlier you had said there were 100+ files, so 15 is a big improvement. I'm assuming that the total size is the same either way (15 smaller files instead of 1 large file), so I don't think it hurts anything for there to be somewhat more files.

I'll continue to make a few more improvements, nevertheless.

In other news, I started a new thread for Poker Sleuth 1.0.

it be nice if you could toggle over the cards in the tool bar and a bubble pop up with the hand or pot amount or some info about the hand you can customize.

I had thought about putting the whole hand in a popup, but that just seemed like too much information for a popup. Letting the user configure the information that's important to them is a great idea, though. I'll add that to my to-do list. Thanks!

if you could add pokerstove (hand range analysis tool) to poker crunch that would be great. For times when villains hand is unknown you would have the option to select from a list of pre defined hand ranges like from stoxpoker.

I feel like a bit of a donk asking this but... does it automatically work out what poker sites I play for? And when I start it up, should it have imported the last few hands I have played?

If that's the case, it's not finding my TowerGaming database.

On startup, it has found some full tilt hand histories, but I haven't played full tilt for months. OnGame - of which I have played on 2 different sites since (coral, towergaming) don't show. I can't see anywhere to configure program paths to the database files.

I'm not really sure what you mean. Could you elaborate?

It automatically detects your poker sites, yes. I had missed some of the OnGame sites (oops). Should be fixed in Poker Sleuth 1.0.2.4. Let me know if you have any further questions, problems, or suggestions.

Thanks!

crunch does you hand vs villains hand when its show down. Pokerstove analysis you hand vs a range of hands. So for the times when villains hand is unknown you could input a hand range.

That's just a helpful default. You can click on the hole cards to edit them to whatever you'd like, including ranges.

You can also launch Poker Crunch as a stand-alone application. It should be under Start Menu -> Poker Sleuth -> Poker Crunch.
