There was a SQL query posted in the HM thread (by _dave_ I think), to get your total hands in your DB. I would'nt think there is any reason to make a new DB.

Earlier today I installed the trial version of Holdem Manager available at their site. I'm having trouble with the HH being imported, it's not. I play on the iPoker network btw.

I don't think I did anything wrong configuring the options for importing the files, anyway this is how I did it:

1. Options > Configure Auto Import Folders.
2. Selected the default directory where the HH is being stored from the site.
3. Ticked both boxes.
4. Selected my new Documents\Processed folder as the Move Folder directory.

I'm sorry if you've seen this question before which you probably have but I've checked the F.A.Q., the official software thread (not all 800 pages but searched around) and the rest of the forum.

How do I get HEM to merge 2 SNs from FTP/Stars into a single database?

Stars HHs disappear from HU tables as soon as opponent leaves...how do I fix this?

Options > Player Aliases > Add Alias > Create Unique 'Alias' name (I used fozzy, LDO)

Add all your SN's > Close

Go to any tab, and 'Change' the player name you are looking for, by selecting your new alias you just created.



Also, for Stars:

Make sure u add the importing\hem data\ folder.

screen i can only select the player name and not select my alias

You cant select your player name from the drop down arrow list, until you search for him in the Change box, and select him first.

Anyone know of a basic printable parlay card software program? I found this but it's $195.00. (Pricey?) That seems a little more involved than what I need. Thought there might be an excel template floating around where I can copy/paste(?) week-to-week info into the fields. There's a checkbox "highlight cursor" or similar in the Camtasia screen recording software's options somewhere

I play different stakes sit&gos at the same time and I want to make the higher stakes sit&gos at Stars look different so I pay more attention to them. Currently I just constantly click lobbies but that's kinda silly. So I'm thinking I can just change the theme or background on the table when it starts. I think there's something called ModManager or something like that that I saw fozzy71 talk about. Is this what I want? I want to be able to change the theme or background on specific tables as quickly/easily as possible.

I think people were having problems with the old modmanager, and _dave_ rewrote it as SimpleModManager.

Can I delete HH files from the Processed folder? Are the hand histories in my DB saved in the Processed folder or in the PostgreSQL folder?

My pt3 folder is 750mb and my PostgreSQL folder is 2.8 gigs. Is this normal? My DB has 300k hands. Will defragging these directories on a regular basis speed up how quickly things load in pt3?

Just setup betpot on stars (and other scripts) for someone, and he plays ipoker and ftp also. Now he wants the same at those sites, LDO.

For Betpot on FTP, what is the trick?? Right click does background menu, so a person would have to use wheel click??

iPoker I think I can scour the BP thread and sort that out.

Right click on buttons or bet slider.

Or you could delete ~ in betpot_defaults i.e. RButton instead of ~RButton. That way the right click will not be forwarded to the system. You can't use right click at all, though, while the script is running.

create two user accounts. run FTP on each user account using two different screenames. May need to change some options in User Accounts under Control Panel.

I'm a total Stars noob, and I can't get the HH's to import into HEM or PT3. Do you have to go create a hand history folder in the Stars configuration folder? How do I get them to auto save? Can you not do that on Stars? Do you have to continually request emails after each session? Why does Stars suck? Can someone give me a quick guide to setting up auto import for Stars in HEM or PT3 please? Thanks

Stars > Options > Instant hand history > tell it to save them

go play an orbit, so it writes some hands and creates the HH folder

point HM/PT3 at the HH main folder
