Locked it, seemed pointless to move to the zoo after OP had seemingly conceded, thread had run it's course imo.

please hit "notify" for such inappropriate posts, and if my mailserver is working properly I'll get an instant notification

There should be a special forum just for discussing how online poker is rigged. The zoo seems to have 5+ on the front page at all times lately and they show up other places too.

Hi guys,
Anyone knows a good software to manage windows using two monitors? I remember using the one w/ nvidia but I can't find it with the new nvdia software. Basically, it put a taskbar on the top of the windows and you could move the windows from one monitor to the other one by just clicking a button.

For poker I use Stars Planner. Placemint might be kind of what you are after. http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...ight=placemint

A couple noob questions about these programs... Can you see the stats of only other people with the program or of everyone?? (If it's everyone, how accurate are the stats?)

Also for the ones that cost money, how do the serial codes and whatnot work. Like if I got the program from a "friend", would I still be able to use it

I use MultiArrows (search the page for "MultiArrows", which is free). It puts an arrow on each window near the minimize/maximize/close buttons oso you click once to move a window to the other monitor, just as you describe.

I was gonna suggest using UltraMon, but not sure if you could make do with just this instead (UltraMon isn't free).

The only two features I find I use in UltraMon are: moving the windows about like Agthorr mentions and putting another taskbar on the other monitor (but perhaps I could learn to live without that).

I use MultiMon which is free. Not as many features as UltraMon but works well.

Are you asking if you can see your own stats or something else?

The stats are generally 100% accurate. There can be errors with the hand histories and stuff like that, but in general, totally accurate based on the hands in your db.

I think I haven't setup holdem manager correctly. It is very slow in the 'reports' section. I tried to vacuum, but it finished instantly. Is this standard?

Try running a Vac/Analyze Full from PGADMIN. I think there are still bugs if you are trying to vac the DB thru the HM GUI.

Start > Programs > PostgreSQL > PGADMIN > Right Click Connect to the server, and then the DB

> Right Click > Maintenance

Also wise to defrag your HD regularly, IMO. I use CCleaner (crap cleaner) daily, and run scheduled defrags with Perfect Disk weekly.

typical passwords are postgrespass and dbpass

you can negate the password requirement altogether:

You must set the postgresql authentication mode for localhost (127.0.0.1) to "trust".

Do this:
Click: "Start -> Programs -> PostgreSQL 8.x -> Configuration files -> Edit pg_hba.conf"

It will open a notepad with some text.

Scroll all the way to the bottom, you should see a line reading this:
Code:
#IPv4 local connections:
host all all 127.0.0.1/32 md5
Edit the "md5" to "trust", no quotes. It should now read:

Code:
#IPv4 local connections:
host all all 127.0.0.1/32 trust
Save the pg_hba.conf file, and close notepad.

Click: "Start -> Programs -> PostgreSQL 8.x -> Reload configuration"

Yes, I did it a month or 2 ago, but it's a bit vague as to the specifics.

I think you need to create a new 'blank' popup, in the hud popup config. Then go thru the player prefs and assign the new blank popup to all the stats you dont want a popup on. I think I left a default winrate pop up, on the VPIP and Hands, so I could still get a small popup with the player name, to make sure I had aligned the hud properly.

Dave - curious on your input for this. I have been using the personal version for firefox, and am wondering what you think about the new pro version?
