Sorry Dave, didn't mean to put you or your work down. I'm impressed with what you've accomplished. I didn't realize how powerful it was. Want to write a PA Hud layout converter?

Contact us privately on the site closer to commercial launch and we'll figure out what we're going to do with those.

everything worked untill i made a triple alias (with three screennames) then i've got this messae in the sumery. Wierd is that the player static table under it is still working.

ok, noticed that it was one of my screenname that made this message can be 'cos i missed hh?

Out of curiosity, was this after adding the party alias?

not sure if this has been covered before, but:

I run norton internet security. if i download PT3 and install then norton runs a virus scan midway through the installation (as it does with many other apps). When I then try to start PT3 it immediately exists with an 'XML parsing error on line 1' message. Nothing else happens, no log file... if I disable norton and then install PT3, then it starts fine.

Actually - its more serious than that:

Download PT3
disable Norton
run PT3 installer, installs fine

If I then run PT3 itself with Norton disabled, then it runs fine. However, if I re-enable Norton and then try running the (successfully installed) PT3 - I get the same error - 'XML parsing error, syntax error at line 1'. Nothing else happens, no log file, and I have to manually kill PT3 from within task manager.

This is a bug. PT3 is not parsing the limit of one of the hands (or groups of hands) correctly, thus storing a BB value of 0 in the database. If you can find the hands that this is happening with, please attach one of them to a support ticket on our site.

Norton must be altering the file or preventing PT3 from reading from it entirely. I'll see if there's anything I can do on my end.

Cool, thanks.

Just to be explicit - I have to disable 'Norton Internet Security'. The other option 'Norton Antivirus Auto protect', has no effect.

How do I delete hand histories or entire tournament histories from my database?
01-25-2008 , 01:10 PM
There is a purge feature in the Database Management. It deletes everything from a database.
01-25-2008 , 01:30 PM
It is possible I missed the option, but is PT3 able to filter by pot size anywhere? I really want to be able to only view hands in a particular category when the pot size exceeds say 10BB.

Not yet, but soon.

I am sure this is easy enough to do, but would you guys be able to allow multiple selections under the reporting tabs?

When I use the filters to just show suited connectors, under the Hands tab, I can only choose one set of hole cards to view in the replayer. Same goes for the Positions tab. If I filter for MP seats, I can only watch seat 5, 6, etc. in the replayer.

Thanks for all of this!! I can't wait for the full release!

Can I delete just one tournament or one session?

I'd recommend putting some additional info in the documentation as to the sequence with which you should perform the installation if you're moving from PT2 with Access. I didn't realize I would have to convert my PT2 database until after installing PT3 with postgres.

I keep getting a password error message when converting the database in PT2 and I didn't make any changes to any of the passwords...

We'll be adding much more in terms of reports and what you can do with them.

We'll see what we can do. For now, you should go here: http://pokertracker.com for help with PTv2.

Probably just me being an idiot but I can't find anywhere to save my settings. Like setting myself as default player, not having to switch from table based to time based sessions each time, etc.
01-25-2008 , 04:18 PM
These settings are not available yet, but they will be before too much longer.
